Within hours of purchasing the Cannix theme on Envato, it was made available for free. Steve, the theme developer said I had to purchase one of his other 5 themes in order to be refunded. I didn't think this was fair. However, after some consideration, none of his themes suited my needs and I purchased a different one from Envato, believing it my consumer right to select and choose the products I wish to ACTUALLY purchase, not own by default and at cost to myself. Steve refused to refund me even though the theme I spent money on was available for free. In addition, the files I received were incomplete and the theme was not working effectively.
