I used AA Furniture removals plus minus 7 months ago, was satisfied, they moved me with a removal truck. I received a quote again and decided to use them again- he quoted me same price for much less furniture - but instead he Neil used his own company Exclusive Movers with more or less the same amount of money - did not mention at all that he will not be moving my furniture in a Moving truck - used an vehicle with a trailor which was stopped how many times by the Police - My furniture only arrived late in the afternoon - my carpets all dirty and some furniture damaged - I feel he should reimburse the money due to the fact that he was not using a moving truck. This is the quotation I received from Neil which I accepted and he then switched to his own private company Ecclusive Movers A.A. The worst service I have ever gotten from any furniture removal company, after paying for the move the pick up time changed two times delaying me by a full day. Rude personnel totally un Profesional and lack of customer satisfaction I will NOT RECOMMEND A. A VAN LINES TO ANYONE.

I booked my move with Neil, AA Vanlines after good feedback from one of my colleague. After seeing few review on Hello Peter I was confused however decided to go with them and it was really hassle free movement. Driver came on time and loaded all stuff nicely. Will surely recommend AA Vanlines

Should have looked this company up here first before commiting to do doing bussines with them because now I see that my expierience with them seems to be the norm. Contacted them for moving of household goods from Brits NW to Cape Town WC. Admitted that I could not give them a list of goods as it was in storage ,how ever I could tell them that all goods was in a storage unit of 3x3x6 which was filled to about 80%.They were quite happy to supply me a quote based on this volume. Loading was done timeously and correctly. However once they had possesion of my goods problems started ,First thing was an increase in the tarrif of 33% (R4000) ,I was sms'd informing me that the volume loaded was more than inicated for the quote.( I have always had a problem with a big company that wants to conduct bussiness by sms ,rather unprofesional in my books).I had to pay this in cash before they will offload ,who in this day and age wish to carry such amounts in cash with them?.So me ,the clieent ,had a gun against my head as I was informed that my goods will be attached unless I pay this money.I then also have to find out that the move was handled by a third party and not AA Van Lines , I was never informed that a third party was involved ,who is now ultimately responsible for my goods should a problem arrise? Remember quote was for 80% of the volume supplied.So if the load was more (which it was not) which would then be 100% of volume supplied it would then be an increase of 20% so how do they calculate a 33% increase in tarrif? I was informed that ofloading would take place on the 27th and arrangements was made for my wife to fly from Pretoria to be present on the 27th for the ofloading.On the morning of the 27th I get a call saying that offloading would only happen on Monday 30th.A whole weekend wasted .No concern for the inconvienience for as the clieent by deviating from the arranged date. I qeuried all of this and was met with a rather flippant attitude of are you going to pay or do we attach your goods ?Again me the clieent without any choices.Even speaking to the owner/manager resulted in the same attitude. In future I would make damn sure that I visit this site before making use of any company and I could just advise anybody reading this to be very carefull when using this company as you dont know if it is actually them doing the move and secondly they make use of underhand tactics to increase tarrifs and you as the clieent will have no recourse.

<p>We were very impressed with the outstanding service we received from AA Van Lines on 29 April 2018. Clarence promised excellent service and he has lived up to that promise. Both Clarence and Neil went out of their way to help us on very short notice. The driver, Lucky and his team were very polite, professional and efficient. They were on time and worked very hard thoughout the day. We won’t hesitate to recommed AA Van Lines to others in the future. Thanks again - we really appreciate it. </p>

This is by far the worse company to deal with . i arranged to have a move done on the 03 March 2018 i received a quote from a guy named Neil and paid him a 50% deposit. it so happened that my mom inlaw had passed away that week and i had to get to Durban. so we were not there to manage the move but we had arranged with friends to assist us. i called AA Van lines and explained to Neil my situation and advised him that my helper has packed all the items that needed to go and that there was a few things that needed to be moved and he said "dont stress i will send some boxes and the guys will help her pack." On Saturday 03 Mar the guys pitched up at 07am apposed to 09am as negotiated. they did not move anything to them nothing was packed but my helper had already packed everything they guys left and refused to move my furniture. The owner Clarence was so unsympathetic about everything he was rude and arrogant. After a while he calls me to tell me he can get someone else to help me but its going to cost me R800 more which i agreed on because i was desperate. 5 mins later he calls back to tell me the price has now gone up by 1800! This is when we realized that this company is taking us for a joy ride! My husband spoke to him in to come to a mutual agreement and told him we will contact him during the week. i managed to find a mover from a better company who went out of his was to help us and was so sympathetic towards everything! On the 06 Mar i called Clarence to ask him what now happens to my money he then has the audacity to tell me we were there to do your move so you dont get your money back! I can understand that they came out to do the move but nothing was done so they should refund me back my money or at least a portion of it. I paid for them to move my furniture and not park outside my house and leave! This company is a rip off and they prey on situations like this to steal from the consumers. there are no T&C on their quotes so this will be going through to the consumer protection council. "All Private removals 50% deposit required to confirm and secure booking". -because no move was done i should receive my deposit!

I used A A Van Lines to relocate to KZN. It was such a stressful time for me, however, the removal people where quick, professional and very careful with my furniture. I had 1 load going to my daughter in Durban and another bigger load going to storage in Ballito. This was handled very accurately and all the goods got to their destination in good order. There was a problem at the storage depot and Deon very kindly took care of it and they were then able to continue to offload and store the furniture. The unit was packed neatly. I recommend this removal company and my dealings with Neil and Deon made for a good customer experience
