What a terrible place to buy a vehicle from. Before you have the vehicle its all promises just to get the deal through, afterwards its a nightmare. From the almost 7 months that the sale went through, up till now we drove the vehicle for about two months, the rest of the time its at their workshop, with no communication from their side unless you ask for updates. The vehicle is at their workshop for the second time around for the past 8 weeks. Received a letter today to collect vehicle and take it to another repairer as Active Auto will be closing within the next week (Business Closure)

By far the worst dealership in the vaal if not in SA.. All friendly and nice when buying a vehicle... Now my settlement amount not being paid... not refunding me for debit orders on my old vehicle.. so i'm paying for a vehicle that I traded in... When you phone them almost daily.. they always say they getting back to you bet never do... if you are at the dealership they always in a "meeting" ... So because of them... financialy im in big touble.. but hey they don't care...

My Girlfriend bought a Jeep Renegade from Active Auto in the beginning of February 2023 after seeing it on Active Auto’s website. We later found out that the vehicle was a CARZUKA vehicle that Active Auto Partners up with to sell vehicles. After taking delivery of the Vehicle the 10th of February 2023 and driving the vehicle over the weekend we found issues on the Vehicle. 1. Loss of power while driving 2. Sunroof wasn’t working. 3. Spare key wasn’t delivered with the vehicle (that is still with Carzuka) We notified the Active Auto the Monday off the issues, and they came to collect the vehicle on Thursday 16th of February to fix the problems. Since then, some of the issues has been fixed. The vehicle has been sent to multiple workshops even Jeep itself and no one has been able to fully fix the issues on vehicle. Since February she hasn’t even had the vehicle in her possession for a total of 3 weeks. To date, the vehicle still HASN’T been registered in her name and she is still waiting for the Spare key. She has requested numerous times for the deal to be cancelled but Active Auto (Fred Snr) refuses to cancel the deal. Fred Snr and Fred Jnr don’t reply to emails and don’t return voice messages that we left and when try to speak to them they are full of empty promises. It has been almost 5 months since she purchased the vehicle, and she hasn’t had any time to enjoy the vehicle that she looked forward to. THIS HAS BEEN AN EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE. Think twice before Buying a vehicle from Active Auto.

This is bad. Bad service from the beginning. For a cash deal that should have run smoothly. I told them about my problems with the vehicle I bought, and then wait for reply. Keep telling me they'll get back to me. Now, no one answer their cell phones. I now have a new car, that I can't drive because they stall on fixing it. Don't use them.

I bought a car last year they did not deliver till i call MFC my finance they said if they did not deliver up to a month i must cancel the deal they deliver the car some other places were not paintend mind the car is new to me with a month a car hand break did not work the passange seat break i reported the matter they said they the chair is not under warranty mind the car has 2 months then in a nut shell the car is totally damaged i heared funny things last year december the car i reportedthey said i must take it to diagnosis i send them the results But nothing happened that funny noise caused a damage to rhe cv joint and driving shaft they are brocken made the car stand still in the middle of the road that cost me R18457. 50 today as the 02 September 2022 when I go and fetch the car i have a high risk of the fanbelt which is totally damaged and the Steering rach both totally damaged i complaint about the car first day it comes help what can I do they are so racist i dont know whether because iam a black female

Purchased a vehicle from them in January, 6 months later and still dealing with problems. Literally the worst service. You get a "warranty" with them, yet they are unable to even fix anything properly the first time and you have to keep going back. Extremely pathetic and rude and I would not recommend them to anyone. Pretending to be friendly and have customer service until the deal was made and once you purchase the vehicle - 'It is then your problem.'

I am writing this post with no satisfaction from the service I received from Active Auto...It has been a month already since I paid a deposit of which I later on decided on not taking the contract. Now that I want my money back I'm being thrown from pillar to post..Mangers not attending to my query after two emails and endless phone call with no way forward. I advise others not to take any contract with this company as they don't have customer urgency plus endless promises.
