Absolutely appalling. After being a loyal client for years and booking several trips through Aeroplan they have left my completely in the lurch. I booked an all inclusive family holiday to the Seychelles in September 2021. I paid in full for this holiday. Prior to payment I did raise concerns regarding future travel bans and my holiday being cancelled. I was assured there would be “no issues” and “I would not lose any money”. When the travel ban was announced last week I was again assured “I would not lose any money”. Now 7 days later after repeatedly following up regarding my now cancelled booking Aeroplan travel cannot organise an alternate holiday for me and will deduct 25 percent of the entire amount I paid to them. So I am losing money.
