Having frequent other SPA’s, unfortunately your establishment was a complete disaster. It was supposed to be a perfect anniversary celebration, yet we left feeling disappointed and disgusted. 1. No disposal underwear was provided. After the body scrub, we had to take a shower in our underwear. We did not make provision for dry underwear. We weren’t sure whether we should laugh or cry about your disposable slippers and the extra small gowns. In hindsight with no underwear, an excuse for slippers and gown we could have walked around naked! No difference! 2. Had to ask for milk, and was presented with soy milk. We don’t drink black coffee or soy milk. 3. The worst was probably the “light lunch” included in the R4,000 package. I still have nightmares. Our steak was hard as rubber, the mushroom sauce was nowhere to be found. When I enquired about this, I was met with blank stares and no assistance. Why could you not follow up with the restaurant and at least provide us with feedback. Instead you chose to ignore our request (and us) We had to eat in the nail bar… Really? Would YOU be happy to have your food where you have just treated nails? Disgusting! Perhaps this should be reported to a governing body, how safe is this practice? You expected us to sit on low sunbed chairs in the pool area, how do you know that we have the physical ability? Or in the reception room for all and sundry to see us. It is clear that you’re establishment is not in a position to offer a food inclusive package. I strongly suggest you remove this from your menu.

We visited this spa for a full body massage on the 13\01\2018 at 16.00. We were quoted a price of R 650.00 each by the manager, Vasha when we made the booking. Having visited many different spa's global I have to say that this was the worse experience that I have had. Both the the******s that we had basically gave us a body rub and not a massage, further they spoke and whispered during the entire 1 hour, there was also a lot of space and times when they were not massaging us but rather gesturing with hand signals to each other. We contacted the manager Vasha this morning who promised to get back to us, however 12 hours later we have not been advised anything.

For someone who has experienced a lot of spas in Johannesburg Aesthetic Elements has to be the worst.<br> <br> I was given a gift of a full day spa package of 4 hours and was pushed out after 2.5. <br> <br> I had to tell the therapist to stop the indian head massage as it was just a hair pulling exercise which resulted in birds nests in my hair.<br> <br> The facial was terrible - she used a face cloth (which smelled like feet) instead of sponges and slapped some stuff on then wiped it off. <br> <br> I didn't get the salt glow exfoliation at all :(<br> <br> The express pedi used cold water and no buffing! And the manager Michaelie instructed the therapist that a express pedi did not include a paint? Since when does a pedi not include a paint?<br> <br> Oh and the whole time I was there I wasn't so much as offered a glass of water...<br> <br> Shameful!<br> <br> P.S. It took me two hours to get the knots out of my hair from the 'indian head massage'

I bought a full day spa for 2 as a gift for my friend visiting from Australia and was left feeling embarrassed, disappointed and ripped off. <br> The full body massage was ok at best, the Indian Head massage was some weird hair knotting exercise which didn't even come close to what an IHM is supposed to be and the Mani and pedi were laughable. I have never in my life had a pedi (even an express one) where a nail file didn't even touch my toe nails and where I left with my own nail polish on my toes. Please visit some of your competitors websites to see the definition of an express Mani and pedi. <br> <br> The 60 minute facial consisted of a face wash and a mask - I go for facials regularly and professional salons can do a lot more than that in 60 mins, ridiculous. <br> <br> For the \Salt Glow"we were shoved into a room filled with salt with no explanation of what the treatment was supposed to entail and then left to our own devices until we eventually decided to just leave. <br> <br> As a parting gift I was then told that in order to pay for the two smoothies my friend and I consumed I would need to go through a full security check at the gym.<br> <br> Several attempts to contact you have gone unanswered """

I arrived today with two other people for a full day spa package and to my disappointment we were done at 13:00 each treatment was suppose to be an hour which did not happen how does a full day spa finish at 13:00 and how is sitting in a salt room a treatment this is misleading and false advertising we were also told that the jacuzzi was not working due to loadshedding but there was no load shedding scheduled which eskom and news24 stated in the media this was unsatisfactory for the price paid and being the Radisson Blu this is not the service i expected.

Aesthetic elements spa promote a service on Groupon. A full day spa treatments. This was purchased by me and a few days later I called to make an appointment to redeem my voucher. Not only could I not get through to the spa as it was continuously engaged but when I eventually got through I was told that the voucher could only be redeemed on a week day as weekend days were fully booked. Due to work commitments I explained that I cannot take time off work to redeem the voucher during the week. The person I spoke to not only told me that I can request a refund from Groupon but that they had 600 purchases of the treatment. Why is that my problem? Why did they sell 600 if they couldn't accommodate so many people. Furthermore I get told that in the terms and conditions it was subject to availability. They were offering a service not an item that could be sold out which is then subject to availability. I think it's appalling to promote a service and then not accommodate the client on the dates that suited them.

On arrival at aesthetic event spa they had not written down our booking but confirmed on email we were booked. They said we had cancelled which was rubbish as all communication was done via email . I showed them the emails to which the lady then apologised and said they were running an hour late. So patiently we waited. We then were not offered gowns and told there was none left out in deprecate rooms and cut from 4 treatments to 3. We paid an absolute fortune never got offered anything to drink .. Nor we're we shown any of the facilitates. When I complained we were given such attitude by the assistant manager saying that due to my mistake it cost all the staff an inconvenience.. I then emailed the spa to ask if a manager/owner could contact me and still haven't had a reply .. I am highly disappointed with the spa because I am a salon owner myself and if such thing had happened I would have rather explained the problem to the client and asked if they would be able to come back next week .. And stated that today we can offer a treatment and use of facilities. Just made us feel more welcome .
