Good day I spoke to a lady by the name of nontuthuko regarding my claim they sent us an email stating they will pay us out based on their assessors quote. However when they sent the document for us to sign it displayed our quote we claiming for and shows deductions. It's not a detailed document their assessors quote they paying us based on is not appearing as well I asked for their assessors quote to be sent to me they refused after I sent them my quotes they requested. As a financial advisor this is not treating clients with honesty and integrity. All we want is a document stating the payout is based on their quote not what we claimed as the 70% payout was calculated on their quote.the amount should be in the settlement letter...can I get the assessors quote from my insurance as well?

Hi Shane You sent the following message to the third party on the 25th of March 2025, “Good day Tanya We acknowledge receipt of the documents and we confirm having forwarded same to our accounts department.” Was the release forwarded to the accounts department without being check? Antanya followed up on the payment on the 15 of April 2025 and your response was the following, “Good day Antanya Kindly note that you signed the release on the 25th of March 2025, and if payment takes up to 30 working days , kindly note that we start counting from the day the release is signed, not when the claim was reported.” You failed on at least two occasions to notify the claimant about the release not being fully completed? You at least owe her an explanation for this oversight. Will she again be expected to wait another thirty days for payment after completing the remaining parts of the release? THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH. THIS WHOLE AFRICAN DAWN IS A SHAMBLE OF A COMPANY SHANE AND HIS BOSS KOKETSO THE OTHERS YOU DONT EVEN HEAR OF. THIS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GET GOVERNMENT TENDERS AND ACT LIKE YOU OWN EVERYONE AND DO AS YOU PLEASE NO SERVICE NOTHING DISGUSTING

I have put in a claim last year November with COJ amounted to R7500 as our power was off for the whole week. I had to take out money for the generator for the gas to buy food. I have provided all the pictures and proof of payments and invoices I had. They offer me R436.00 from R7500 paying out of my own pocket. COJ connected all the other houses in our area except two houses. My meat is R109 per kilogram, I had 4 packs of 3kg meat. Shane tells me I have to treat him like a professional how can I say the total is R1300 the total is R436. OMW people he is a Account Executive for this company and he can't even calculate how does he even work there? This company clearly don't know what they are doing, they only thing they know doing best is by ripping people off. Please be very careful of this company.

Please do not make use of the services of this company. They will frustrate you and your clients with the completely ineffective and inefficient way in which they process claims. I have had the deal with them twice now for City of Johannesburg claims and was frustrated for months on end on both occasions. My latest claim dates back to April 2024. It is now August 2024 and my approved claim has still not been settled.

Please do not make use of the services of this company. They will frustrate you and your clients with the completely ineffective and inefficient way in which they process claims. I just had the most terrible conversation with one of your claims people about a JRA claim. Shane is rude and condescending. I have 2 claims with JRA different amounts these an issues from 2022 it made it seem like I am trying to get more money out of my claims. I gave them all the required paperwork and now he decides what amount he is going to give me and not what I claimed for. It's not the 1st time I do a pothole claim they used to be very simple and straightforward not now. Shane is rude I did not appreciate his tone. When I told him I am going to dispute it he says it's okay you can go to court like really. Even if you don't send the money I do not give a f@$& keep it Shane I guess it's yours.

It's been three years since I've been following up for an update on my claim. I've received no reply to my emails, and I've left numerous messages for the claims departments to call me back, but still nothing. Non-existent customer/client services team.

Very poor service, they happen to be a Broker of city power but when they get a claim they are very Rude and also *********** in handling claims. The guy in commercial when asked how long does the claim take to be finalise? he told me it can take forever if I so wish to make it take forever. It seems to be a Risk to insure with this company because now I am contemplating suing their client instead. I guess one can only insure with this company with expectation of being still liable for the claims should something happen.

ATT: YVONNE MASHIGO I have had non stop abuse from the above company I first had to deal with City Power who referred me to Shame the manager at Dawn Solutions. Every time he wanted a document, they would never email me I have had to email them weeks. Each time there was some sort of "excuse". For instance today I was requested to send them my bank details to which I did last week Friday. Randomly, I received a note to say thanks on a weekend to say thanks and then again I got told I had not sent the bank confirmation. When sent in PDF format from capitec themselves he slammed the phone on my ear. Shane said it was not a PDF when clearly it was. It is costing me money to get my spoiled food money back from February! He laughed at me, belittled me by slamming the phone on my ear now and not thinking of the best interest of my children or that alot of desths occured in my family. I was told by City Power from the date I send it to them I will be paid in 30 days this is now not the case, Shane says with a laughing face from Dawn solutions I must wait another month which is absurb. I have been mistreated, interrupted on my phone calls to them, laughed at and phone slamned.on my ear. I see absolutely no professionalism in this company and all my rights remain strictly reserved. In my.entire life of 49 years old I have not claimed anything, and this original amount was 3k dropped to 800k, so I don't know why the big fuss
