Worst experience ever -Abdul Hameed Chavoos Waseela is great thank you for your warm welcome and my condolences that you have to work with such a rude and condescending man. We did the online course before the flight. The experience up to here was good and my son was excited for the flight. We were told to ensure we did not arrive late.
Here are my concerns expressed to Ahmed after our trip. I advised him that I wanted to note them to him directly and not on social media. My attempt was to gain clarify. After more than 32 follow ups over 12 months via whatsapp and email we have to date not received the video which we paid for neither our refund back of the R300 paid additional for the video. I have now given up trying but would like to help you avoid having the same experience. Please contact any other flight school in that area, there are many and I am sure you will have much better service than what Ahmed gives. Pity as his willingness to share his knowledge is one thing that I complimented on the day and on our correspondence, but he is extremely rude and arrogant.
- 01 April 2025 - The day before our flight it rained and I asked if our booking was still ok - I was advised that aviation weather was being checked, no update by 19h49 and I followed up again. I was then told that a further update would be given by 07h00 the next morning. - 02 April - 07h20 I followed up if the booking was on for today but given the open skies we proceeded to the venue. No reply was received until 08h00 - Booking made for 09h00 - We were advised to arrive 30min before our flight. - Knowing we had to navigate Gillooleys I got up at 6h00 to get ready so that we could leave 7h30. On the day Gillooleys was not too jammed and we arrived 08h13. - We were advised to wait at Harvard and that you would see us at 09h00 (which was not as per your own arrangements) - 09h01 you called us to advise you are running late and that you would see us at 9h45. I advised at the time that this was not ok as I had client meetings to get to after 11h00 - You then advised that you will be there by 9h15 (bearing in mind that we were told to be there by 08h30 and fly by 09h00) - At 09h42 I sent another message to find out where you are - You arrived 10h02 - My son took off 11h13 and landed 11h29 – I know the time as I sent a message to my customer to cancel my 1st meeting which I was not able to make due to you arriving late. - I know the landing time as the other lady that was booked to fly after us whose name I have removed for the purpose of posting my notes on Hello Peter commented – are they back already? And I looked at the time. - This equates to a 16min flight (from take off to landing) - When I asked you why the flight was so short you advised it was 40min from start up to landing – this may be the case for your normal process but it was not the case for my son. - You advised that I would see this from the video - to date we have not received this video or our R300 refund paid for this video. - When you arrived back you fuelled the airplane before you took off with the other lady.
If you are not able to make it to the office early then don’t schedule early flights. It would have been far more convenient for us not to have gotten up at the crack of dawn and battle peak traffic to get to a venue only to have to wait 1 hour 30 minutes. On the positive side you are very thorough in your explanations, you make it very easy to understand and you are very patient with new learners.
To date we have not received our R300 paid for the video which we have not received. I have to wonder if the reason that he did not send us the video was that it may prove that the flight was not as long as he said it was. Irrespective we have asked time upon time for our refund which Abdul ignores. He has chosen to keep the money despite not sending us the video. This is dishonest conduct not to speak of the rude and arrogant way in which he responded initially via telephone. extract from message to Abdul: Thank you for your call 10 April 13h56 albeit that the purpose of your call seemed to be to vent and not for us to gain a mutual understanding.
