This is specifically for American Swiss Parow, Sanlam Centre. I was bought a gift for my birthday, a watch and a bracelet in January of this year. I'm not a watch person, but i wore it once and on the second day, the watch stopped working. I thought maybe it was the battery or something. But after some time, it was taken in to American Swiss and the policy is that it needs to be send away for repairs as it was not the battery. It was taken in on the 26th of May and it was told that it would take 4-6 weeks for repair. I phoned last week Tuesday the 04th of July, and i was told that i will be called back by Friday to inform me of the status of the item in question, as it was not at the shop as yet. Today, is Monday the 10th of July, the telephone service could have been better, but the lady took my name and called me back. The item was not in the shop as yet, and she told me that it takes 6-8 to repair. Honestly speaking, if you buy an item, it is suppose to work and not be faulty in 24 hours. Was this a new item or an old item. Why the inconsistency in the repair time. I am not happy with this, as the person spend a lot of money on this item, just to be in a repair shop. I would like to know what the policy is on how to get the money back.

The Eisbein served was overcooked and served only slightly warm. The sauerkraut was served cold on a wintery day instead of hot. The pizza dough was not mixed properly nor was it cooked. The wines were fairly young. The host was exceptional and the staff were efficient and very friendly. The atmosphere was good The Cordon Bleu was okay. Maybe we went on the wrong day but I was disappointed.

American Swiss Ballito Junction - We bought 2 necklaces at the shop on Sunday, 11 December 2022. In the final stages of payment, the power went off (loadshedding). Unfortunately, the card machine went off. The assistant, Rhoda, assured us that no payment went through. On the Monday afternoon, I checked our bank statement, only to find out that the amount of R499-01 went through twice. First thing the next morning, we went back to American Swiss, explained the situation to Rhoda who was very helpful. She took all our details and said that she must send it to head office. I sent her an email the moment we got home with a description of what happened as well as a copy of the receipt and our bank statement showing the double payment. A week later Rhoda phoned to inform us that Head Office was still busy processing our request (16:50). We also went to the store a couple of times, only to get the same response, Head Office is working on it, and they are awaiting response. We received one more call from Michelle telling us, once again, that Head Office is working on it. My wife phoned on the 30th only to be told by Michelle that it is the festive season and some departments at American Swiss are closed over the festive season. As there was loadshedding was involved, my wife stated that this should have happened in the past with other clients as well. Michelle confirmed that it did and therefore a reversal process should be in place when a customer provides a Credit card statement. This could be verified by Head Office against the Bank statement. This morning we went back to the store, only to get the run around once again. Rhoda advised that she can’t as she is not allowed to refund us directly to our card. Today marks 3 weeks and we are still awaiting our refund. This is unacceptable! As far as we are concerned, American Swiss lost a client. We want our money back and we cannot see why we must wait 3 weeks to get it back, festive season or not. Apparently American Swiss Head Office do not have any staff to verify a bank statement and assist a customer with a refund. I am awaiting a call and the fund returned to my credit card today.

What a ****ty service so far I got a watch as a gift from someone took it to eloff to make it small for it to fit me the watch circles inside fell off took it back to eloff they booked it in for repairs what a nightmare I had to wait two months received it Friday it came back worse you can literally see the ****en black glue on the watch circles are replaced ****ty I didn't expect this from the head office the services is really poor I went to southgate for an exchange this rude unprofessional guy told me straight with a **** attitude I should go back to eloff street imagine he called his manager she took my details I have been waiting for a call since this morning from her some random guy could see what is wrong with the watch but they can't see anything wrong I won't ever buy something from this shop the worse service ever received

TFG Customer, thanks for contacting us. CS-677945 is logged relating to your TFG Financial Services - Publications feedback / request. Regards TFG ww****g.co.za/contact-us The above complaint has not been resolved as yet. I got an e-mail from Grizelda Filander on 8/4/2022 and I sent an e-mail reply the same day. I called the number on the e-mail the next week and left a message for Grizelda. I subsequently missed one call but repeatedly called the number and there is no reply. I have verified that it is the number for the Foschini Group. The account has now yet again been handed over to another debt collecting agency and the interest and other charges amounts to hundreds of Rands. To the management of the Foschini Group - your customer care dept do not care at all about customers and neither do they have any commitment to solve any issues. Can a senior person please take over this issue???? I will not pay for all the years after I canceled the prescription to the children's magazine, nor for any interest, telephone calls or collection calls. Customers should not pay for the incompetence of a service provider!!!
