Has purchased an shower kit from a retailer and when I wanted to fit it I found that the wall channels supplied were incorrect I went to AGI and asked them if they have the correct profile in stock as described in the fitting instructions which they confirmed they do But they are not willing to sel me induvidual components and said that I should buy a new kit They will take my number and have a discussion with management when management is available to see if they will be willing to sell me the correct components in order for me to fit thier product In the meantime I guess I will just have to do without a shower untill such time is they get back to me if ever William

We purchased a shower from AGI for a client. After explaining to the sales person what it was that we required, she apparently misunderstood me, and we got the wrong product. After reluctantly agreeing to exchange the doors, we collected the new doors from AGI. It turned out that the doors were the wrong size, (the one door anyway) and we requested that it would be exchanged for the correct size (even agreeing to a handling fee would have been fine). The sales person refused to accommodate us. We were then forced to cut the one door slightly so that it would fit into the area that the shower had to go into. The client advised us that the doors were leaking. We established that they were leaking due to no fault of the installer. They were not leaking because of, or even where the door was cut, in a totally different spot. The sales rep was shown a video of the leaking shower and agreed to take the doors back. After taking the doors back they refused to swap them out for us as the one side was cut. These doors were faulty, it was a manufacturing problem and still they could not even try to accomodate us. They agreed to "fix" the doors - but would not take the silicone off, as it might damage the paint work. My client paid for a shower and has now been without a shower for awhile, so she is understandably upset. The lack of empathy and co operation, or even trying to make a client happy is shocking!

I have had a terrible experience with the staff at the Pinetown branch of this comany... Sales staff was pleasant enough to start with. A quote was easy to get and 10 day turn around for the order after deposit paid. All sizes were confirmed and signed for on the drawings they supplied. The order was supplied a few days late but that wasn't the problem.
After taking the order home and my builder started to put them in we found that out of 8 items ordered only 2 were the correct size(my fault for not checking at the factory)
They were then very tartdy about fetching and replacing them and 4 weeks later I am still waiting for the last item to be replaced. They have repeatedly put the phone down on my buider and not handled the problem or kept up to their promises on numerous occasions.

The final straw is being told I can expect them to install on Friday to my face and then organising someone to be home until 8pm still no door to secure my cottage.
This has held up the build no end and I definately do NOT recommend anyone use these people unless you LOVE stress!

We ordered a 3 pane stack door in October 2015 and was told it would take 2 weeks. We took the old doors out ready for the new doors to be installed only to be told that they had made a mistake and to re do the doors and it would be ready in 4 weeks. The house stood open for this extra time and we had to pay for extra security until the doors were in. The invoice ended up to be R912.00 in credit and was told that we should buy something else to use up the credit. We informed AGI that we don't need anything else and would rather have the refund. It is now February and I have made calls and emails in between to find out what is happening. Every time I call I get no apology that the refund is taking forever just a frosty attitude like I am being an inconvenience, plus they are all to happy to cut you off the phone. My solution to this is - give the refund on time!
Bad attitude whilst waiting 3 months so far for a refund, not good for such a big company.
