Hello Peter, I have been listed on credit bureau by the company listed above for levies billing and i need them to remove my name from the bureau listing as this is affecting my credit life as i cannot even afford simple loans.

I have my levy account handed over to this people and they add 10% of my levy balance on my statement as their attorney charges. It is totally a real off. I know that when an account is handed over it is subjected to attorneys fees but not 10% of the balance. I am struggling financially as is and I am trying to reduce arrears but I don't see progress due to this unreasonable fee this people are adding to my account. They never even communicated to me regarding the handover of my account I didn't even know who they aee until I ask the managing board of my complex. All they know is to just add fees on our accounts month end and that is it. Deciding to make repayments was not because they ever liaised with me but mainly because I was I a position to start paying . This needs to be brought to the ombudsman attention that here are people reaping us off in the name of being attorneys. I am disgusted and I am looking to expose their ill treatment to us as consumers

I would not recommend this so called "lawyer" for any your case. That "Alan" is too young and irresponsible - would you risk to use his service? Me - not anymore. I applied to him for simplistic "eviction order", what by any conditions takes up to 2 months and +-10,000 rands. My case (which had no any difficulties from opposite side) took 6(!!) months and enormous 40,000 rands! So incompetent lawyer should not service people, beware.

UTTER DISGUST AND NO EMPATHY! I received an call about 8 months ago from a gentleman representing Alan Levy Attorneys. This was relating to my levy payments and I acknowledgment of debt. Upon receiving the AOD document I completed it and sent it back to them immediately. Four months into this the associate that had made contact was changed to another one. I continued to make payments and sent through the POP to both the collectors and the property managing agent. I paid up the amount due and sent through the POP and requested for the details at Trans union to be corrected. I was referred back to Alan Levy for more details only to receive a snotty response from Riaan Nel an associate there. He told me I now have to pay an additional R1109.75 for the paid up letter which I need to send to Transunion. I asked why this was never disclosed to me previously and I was told on email that it is my failing to pay the levies that resulted in this and therefore need to run around correcting this. No bank details provided just a snotty email response! A simple request has turned into a nasty unprofessional response. I have kept my end of the agreement yet I'm being ill treated like ****! SHOCKING UNPROFESSIONALISM!

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL- On Thurs 21 November I contacted Alan Levy to book an appointment regarding Sectional Title issues, they sent me forms to complete and requested a deposit of R3000. I paid said deposit and completed forms and they confirmed my appointment with them on Monday the 25th. Whilst I was on my way to the appointment they called me to enquire which Property Management Company was taking care of our complex, upon my response they said that there was a conflict of interest as the Property Management Company was also their client and that they had to cancel my appointment. I informed them that I had made arrangements to take time off work to attend to my appointment, solicited the services of Uber get to their office for which I now had to pay and enquired about a refund of my deposit. I sent an email with my bank details and received no response, upon calling they said they had sent me an SMS as they needed verified bank details before they could refund my deposit, no such SMS was received. I have now lost two days in which I could have solicited the services of another Attorney for an urgent matter, am still waiting for them to confirm if the verified bank details I have sent are now suffice for my refund of deposit, have had to ask them to please not correspond with me via SMS but via email and now may have to take more time out of the office to go to the bank for bank stamped banking details before I get a refund on my depost. One would think that a so called professional law firm would have confirmed conflict of interest upfront instead of causing such an inconvenience, waste of time and struggle for return of deposit.
