I purchased two pairs of shoes from the Aldo website on Black Friday. Only one pair was shipped, and the other arrived late. After trying the shoes on, the quality was disappointing, and I immediately requested an exchange. The exchange was logged on 7 January 2026, and from that point onward the experience has been nothing short of a customer service nightmare. The process is confusing, outdated, and poorly designed, requiring customers to pay differences via EFT while receiving no clear instructions, timelines, or accountability. For over a month, I have had to constantly chase Aldo for updates. Nothing happens unless I follow up. Each response brings a new excuse, not a solution. Eventually, due to the complete lack of progress, I requested a refund instead. Today is 8 February 2026, a full month later, and my issue is still unresolved. A representative named Fiona responds to emails with polite, but no meaningful action ever follows. This gives the appearance of assistance while achieving absolutely nothing. This experience has shown a serious lack of operational competence and respect for customers. Aldo is quick to take payment but seemingly incapable of resolving even a basic exchange or refund. I strongly advise consumers not to purchase from Aldo online. I will never support this brand again. I would rather pay double elsewhere than deal with this level of inefficiency, poor service, and complete disregard for customers.

I expressed my disappointment in the quality and integrity of the shoes I bought from Aldo in Feb 2025. The inner sole and heels have been compromised in such a way that it has seemed to disintegrate. I requested feedback from Aldo to find out if other clients had complained of the same thing. One doesn't expect that shoes should disintegrate in such a way after less than a year's use! their response "..will review the condition of the shoes and also investigate whether similar issues have been reported with this style previously." It is clear from other posts/reviews that there seem to be an issue with quality standards at Aldo.

I ordered shoes online from Aldo Shoes on the 14th of November 2025. After some days if no delivery, a representative sent me an email telling me that the Shoes I had ordered (size 6) were out of stock and I needed to choose one of three options. I opted for a refunded. It took a long time for any action to happen despite emailing and calling the shop. Eventually, Fiona Mamabolo sent me a message on 13 December 2025 saying their finance department was processing my refund. I received proof of payment (POP) for the amount I had paid on 17 December 2025. However, that amount has not yet reflected in my account to date (17 January 2026) a month later. I sent various emails to Fiona which she simply ignored. When I eventually managed to get hold of her on 14 January 2026 her telephonically, she gave the same excuse about it being a Finance Department matter and she would follow up with them. I continue waiting for the refund as I write this painful review. I am so disappointed with the sluggish manner in which Aldo Shoes handles such matters. They seem not to care at all. What is most painful is that, I have 98% of my shoes from Aldo and I did not expect such poor business practice for a shop I respect so much. I cannot understand why Aldo s unable to process refunds like any other well established online businesses that simply reverse the payment under similar circumstances. Why are you so quick to collect our monies even when you have no stock but make it difficult to get our refunds arising from your system errors? I am so disappointed with Aldo Shoes and would like everyone to be very cautious when dealing with them. Especially, if it is an online transaction. You will sweat for your refund should anything go wrong. I will assure you, Fiona Mamabolo will treat you as if you are asking Aldo for a donation when it is actually your money that is supposed to be refunded to you. I believe there are many who have also had to suffer from such gross customer ill treatment. We deserve better treatment, Aldo. Just a little respect will be highly appreciated please. I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I have received from Aldo regarding a defective bag purchased online. On 30 November 2025, I emailed Aldo to report that the bag’s handle came off on the first day of use. As requested, I provided photos of the defect. I received no response, which led me to send a follow-up email on 05 December 2025. Due to the lack of feedback, I then took the bag into the Aldo store at Clearwater Mall on 10 December 2025, hoping for assistance in person. The only response I received was on 16 December 2025, where I was informed that delays were due to peak season and that an exchange would be created, with a new order number to be provided shortly. Unfortunately, to date, nothing further has been received, and no exchange or resolution has been actioned. This entire process has been frustrating and unacceptable. There has been no sense of urgency, poor communication throughout, and I have had to continuously follow up just to receive vague responses with no actual action taken. As a customer, I expect better service — especially when dealing with a clearly defective product reported immediately after purchase. Aldo, where to from here? I am still awaiting a proper resolution. *Unhappy customer*

I would like to complain Aldo Clearwater, the service we got was horrible as shoes were not worn but the they failed to exchange or refund the shoes, which we were served by Johanna Ngina, I totally had the worse experience

I was literally ******, ordered something online, said it was shipped will be delivered 15-20 days... Took almost 40 days... They then delivered it to another house whom they *****ulently accepted a signature thinking it was me, they did not call, they did not check the proper address, i was ****** by tuxuan95823@gmail.com
