On Sunday the 27/04/2025 The ALS driver was stradling between lanes heading west of the Higginson hiway and collided into 3 stationery vehicles at a red robot. Details were exchanged and all were told to report teh accident at the SAP. The necessary accident report was made at the local SAP. The ALS control room was contacted to report the necessary accident and were questioned about the ALS company accident procedure and the response was deal with the driver as the accident has nothing to do with ALS The senior managment was contacted and he said the same in fact he went on to say "do what you want and my legal team will deal with it" The driver was contacted and he said deal with ALS senior management The driver was contacted again and he said he cant pay for teh accident but will look into alternative repairs Now really ALS drivers are a menace to the road especially if they are not insured nor pay for accidents they cause. Worst of all is that ALS shy away from an obligation This is rather pathetic behavior from ALS and its managment and staff this is one of teh responses from the senior "Sir we have our own policies and procedures so you may do what you feel is necessary however as a independent contractor they are responsible. Thus please discuss with the driver. Thank you " Is this how an apparent professional business responds to an accident out of negligence on a public road - Disgusting and beware when you see them approach

Worst experience of my life, I was involved in a car accident on Saturday 21st September. ALS ambulance arrived at the scene. The paramedics demanded a R1500 payment upfront before they can help me or even take me the hospital. They even had a speed point to take payment on the spot, my husband told them he doesn’t have the card and the cash at home. They said they can go with him to the house to pick up the cash then only they can take me to hospital. They did not have name badges, did not introduce them selfs to me. And only checked my vitals. And left me on the scene. No record no, forms filled. No effort to try help me. They eventually left me on the scene because I was not prepared to pay. I had to get off the Ambulance in the heavy rain and go sit in my husband’s car. I am very disappointed and not recommend this company to anyone as I almost got ****med and left in the accident scene to sort my self out. Very disappointed.

On Thursday 23rd May my son was bitten by a Black Mamba. A Medic phoned them for an ambulance. They got to my son Warren 30min after snake bite. Medic had put a drip on my son. They put him into the ambulance. Off they went. On the way to Nooksi Albert Luthuli Hospital they stopped and started to ask my son questions about getting through the security at the hospital ER. Instead of taking max 15min to get there it took 30min. This was very unprofessional. SNAKE BITE NEED IMEDIATE ANTIVENOM. MY SON COULD HAVE DIED. On Sunday my so spoke to someone high up. No explanation was give for there badly trained staff. I will never every recommend this ambulance service never mind there high charge of R2250 for a max of 15 Kilometres trip.to hospital
