I have been waiting for an Ambulance since 12:22pm now it's 3:52 and I'm being told that they only have 3 Ambulances around Soweto.... how can the whole of Soweto have only 3 Ambulances?

I was assisted by two individuals when I made the call, Thelma and Malatsi. The ambulance arrived in no less than 15 minutes. We were then met and assisted by two wonderful paramedics. Thank you so much, you saved a life!!!!

How is this even possible that you call for an ambulance and just get no response. Even the police tried, to no avail. It is just heartbreaking. Does no-one care about human life anymore. Do you really go to work and decide (because it is a choice) not to perform such a vital part of community service? Do you really feel entitled to a salary after doing nothing? Is there really no empathy from you who laid down an oath to help and preserve life. There are just no words to express the anger, frustration and hurt when you cannot get assistance in a life-or-death situation. By God's Grace my family member is still alive after being taken to the hospital by car. Only by God's Grace.

On the 4th May 2024 at around 18H30 i was assisting at and accident scene at the T junction of Sarina and Umbilo roads. The tow truck attending the scene and I had to stop traffic to clear the scene so traffic can free flow again. Then all of a sudden the driver of 911 MEDIX came to me and started screaming and shouting and using vulgar languages at me. At the time i did not know he was an ambulance driver/paramedic. He aslo did not have siren of emergency lights on to indicate he has an emergency. I only found out after he drove of that he is a paramedic. Also passengers where kinda stuck in the bus that was involved in the accident. Has this ambulance driver drove off he continued to swear at me. The ambulance in question has a fleet number of A10 and registration number is BC 12 XV ZN. Furthermore i phoned his control room and was promised feedback and still nothing as yet. Imagine been a paramedic and have no humanity at all. Infact me giving 1 star is not right should be NO star

I phoned ER Ambulance services at 16:00. I gave the information they required. I received the ref number within a minute. Unfortunately the ambulance never came. At 7 someone phoned to inquire if I still need an ambulance. Basically the same happen in 2017. I was llying on the pavement in pain and blood running out of my head. This happen at 16:00 but I came at the hospital at 19:00.
