The taste in the beer has changed it has an after like a parafin like taste. I thought may be you can only experience it the quarts(660ml) bottles but i bought 440ml cans i can also experience have that awful after taste.

I contacted Amstel back in February regarding a broken beer bottle that I bought from a Spar. After numerous automated responses and a complaint on Hello Peter I finally spoke to a lady who said she would send a courier company to collect the broken bottle as it was needed for quality control and would contact me again a week later. No courier came and there has been no contact. I have contacted Heineken Europe.....another automated response saying 'we value you' and 'someone will be in touch'. Again nothing! I even contacted Heineken UK - same scenario. Amstel & Heineken have ZERO customer service care. ZERO!!

I contacted Amstel back in February regarding a broken beer bottle that I bought from a Spar. I bought two six packs of Amstel Radler. It turns out one of the bottles had the entire end sheared off leaving a very sharp and jagged edge. It could very easily have caused a very nasty cut. I emailed the 'customer care' e-mail address with photographs - 5 days later no response. I messaged them on fb messenger - no response. So much for 'customer care' Amstel!!!!

We bought some cases of beer and the expiry date is September 2020 but all the beer is sour!!!! This is appalling!!! The store where bought refuses to exchange the beer!!! This is unacceptable!! Amstel south africa has no nr on the website! Ridiculous!!!

Laid a complaint on the 8th March regarding a dead wasp in my beer. They contacted me and a courier was sent to collect the bottle. Nothing at all was heard from them since then. The only replies I get on the Facebook page is about what time their consumer care line is active. But no number attached and the number on the bottle does not work. Pathetic customer service.

Bought a 6 pack of Amstel Radler and just opened one now, and with my first sip I got a dead wasp in my mouth and almost swallowed it. Hoping Amstel SA can get back to me regarding this disgusting issue. Throat feels funny and I'm nauseous as hell now.

We bought Amstel Radler. My husband loves it. This is the 3rd time we bought where we found tins that are not filled. This time I decided to complain. The most recent one we found one can that was probably only filled a tenth. Not cool. I took a video of it.
