Amsterdam Rentals - Stay away!!!

I have been in my unit for around 6 weeks now and everything that could have gone wrong, has. None of the items promised to be installed prior to me moving in were done. I was told that these items were going to be installed and ready BEFORE I moved in however upon arrival was greeted with boxes and told I had to install them myself and quote the agent 'this is how it works in the Netherlands'.

6 weeks and still no blinds for the upstairs room, it can't be used. Backyard had more than enough trees and foliage to fill a stadium and the fences were falling down.

The toilet is now blocked and I have to arrange for a plumber. The bathroom unit was installed incorrectly and there was water all of the floor.

The kitchen warmer was broken so not hot water.

Cracked walls, broken windows, curtains uncut so they lie on the floor, broken and unwashed kitchen appliances and no answers or help from the agent.

If you want a scam, false promises and worst of all, a place waiting for you that has nice hidden broken 'everything' and an agent that you can't get hold of, use Amsterdam Rentals!
