I placed an order with Apple Cafe on 25 October for an Apple Watch. During checkout, I mistakenly selected two items instead of one, and I immediately contacted their customer service to rectify the error. They confirmed they would refund the extra watch. However, as of today, 2 weeks later, I have still not received the promised refund. On 30 October, I received an email stating a partial refund had been processed. However, I have not seen any refund in my payment portal, nor have I been provided any tracking or confirmation of this refund. The payment has already been processed, and I am now left liable for the full amount. To make matters worse, the one Apple Watch I did receive is faulty. Although it powers on, it continuously freezes during updates and cannot pair with my phone. After taking the watch to an authorized iStore for diagnosis, they confirmed both hardware and software issues, and the cost to repair it exceeds the value of the watch itself. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this, Apple Cafe’s customer service has been unhelpful. I have been redirected to a third party, who cannot assist me because they have not received the refund from Apple Cafe. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of support and the ongoing delays in resolving both the faulty product and the missing refund. At this point, I feel misled and left with no recourse. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with Apple Cafe, as their customer service and follow-through are severely lacking.

I ve seen Apple Cafe s website and called them with the info advertised. I spoke to Ray who seems to be the sales guy. He promised and promised and promised and guess what, he promised again. This went on for 3 weeks. Every time I called him the story changed. Imagine wanting to give a business business that they ADVERTISED only to be promised so many times and have not delivered on any of the promises. Worst experience ever. I m left wondering how long will a business like this will last with an emploee like Ray!!!!!

I want to just speak on my experience with @ApplecafeZa who are currently giving me the run around regarding a MacBook I purchased on 24 September 2024 (Order #17415). I have been waiting for a MacBook I bought on 24 September, and I am still waiting as we speak. I processed the order on the date in question and then order was made, mind you on their site they claim devices are in immaculate or excellent condition, it took @ApplecafeZa several days to ship out the order. When I receive the order there’s multiple things, I’m unhappy with…. 1. They shipped me a device that had a password lock and then didn’t even communicate to me that there’s a password or they should provide me with the one. So, I had to now follow up with @ApplecafeZa regarding this. 2. The device looked to be in a bad condition (Also very old), there was a ***** missing on the bottom plate and you could tell these laptops they sell have been opened or parts have been changed. 3. When I checked the MacBook further, I realized that @ApplecafeZa sent me a different MacBook to what I purchased, and the alarming thing was they sent me a cheaper and older model and yet I purchased a different and more later edition of the MacBook (also more expensive) I then raised my concerns with them and the receptionist at @ApplecafeZa always says she will call back or flag an issue - of which she doesn’t. I was not called back or even communicated with. Instead, I was called by @TheCourierGuy_ and they took the laptop back. So basically, nobody called me or said anything to me but a collect and return was logged without anyone telling me. I then called @ApplecafeZa and then spoke to the owner (Shawn), or some other person and I was told what is going on (mind you I had to call to get this info) Now please understand - already the MacBook was shipped LATE and arrived late then on top of that I get a wrong MacBook from what I ordered. Whilst not even being communicated with Now it’s the 9th of October and I’m still waiting for the laptop. And imagine this is off something I’ve already paid for. I call @ApplecafeZa I keep being told the MacBook will be shipped and then obviously it isn’t. I was told last week Wednesday that I’d have it by Friday. And still nothing. Now I’m sitting here still till today waiting for my MacBook and I’m honestly appalled at the service of @ApplecafeZa and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone after this. Very much angered by this I bought the MacBook for work purposes and since it’s been halted. To me it seems as if @ApplecafeZa is still sourcing a laptop and nobody is telling me because every time I call, I’m told they’re waiting for the owner or they’re waiting for @TheCourierGuy_ to collect. They keep using @TheCourierGuy_ as an excuse and I know for a fact @TheCourierGuy_ has never given me any issues and they’re very professional. And it’s annoying because they’re trying to discredit other companies to cover up their bad service. I’m honestly annoyed it’s been nearly 2 weeks now waiting for a MacBook from a store in Durban?? No ways. Even shein delivers quicker and that time Durban is 5 hours away. And now what irks me further is the fact that, after I made the purchase, I was sent an invoice on the 25th of September and now I have recently been told that the laptop I want is out of stock?? So how was I issued an invoice for a purchase I made yet they end up having no stock?? You have devices on your website and yet when a customer makes a purchase you then take their money and then after weeks you say there’s no stock?? No ways I called again this morning and as per usual I keep being told they'll call me back and then they don't. And honestly I am being taken for an idiot now

I bought an iPad from them in December and by mid February the middle button & charging port were giving problems. The device stopped charging a week after which they advise they will come pick up for repairs. It took them 2 weeks to send a courier to send a courier to come pick up the device and had I not pressured them, they would have not bothered. It’s going to the second month now & they have not fixed the device but rather providing excuses. On the 8th of April they advised they will send out a new device & it’s 11 days later and I still have not received anything. They are not responding to my messages. I’m truly disappointed by their service and had so much hope in them but their customer service is appalling and they are completely ****mers who sell faulty devices to customers.

So my rating went from a 1 star, for good communication to an overall 5 star rating. I received my order and was disappointed to find out that I'd been sent a generic product instead of the original Apple product that I'd paid for. I naturally assumed that I'd been ****med and immediately sent them an email explaining my disappointment. I received a phone call from Sean within minutes and he was absolutely amazing. He arranged to overnight the correct item to me and collected the item that had been sent to me in error. I really appreciate this level of customer service. Well done to Sean and the team at Apple Café for turning my frown upside down! I will definitely order from this company again.

I naturally assumed that I'd been ****med and immediately sent them an email explaining my disappointment. I received a phone call from Sean within minutes and he was absolutely amazing. He arranged to overnight the correct item to me and collected the item that had been sent to me in error. I really appreciate this level of customer service. Well done to Sean and the team at Apple Café for turning my frown upside down! I will definitely order from this company again.

I trusted ordering from your business, verifying before you sent me the items that they would be original and suitable for the device I ordered. You sent me a completely different cover than what I ordered during checkout(a purple case) instead you sent me a blue, white and yellow case. A screen cover packaging that has dirty black marks on it and a **** compatible with iphone charger when I specifically stated I wanted an original. You now expect me to pay for return shipping claiming buyers remorse which is false. I do not suggest anyone orders with this **** of a business!
