I have been a loyal customer at Apple Tree Meadowdale, as they always have excellent specials, today was no exception, But unfortunately I was left with a bad taste in my mouth after going through till number 5 manned by Liada Ndou. What a rude, bad attitude this woman has, I asked for one of the thin plastic bags they for rolls, to put my chopped onions in, I have always been assisted in the friendliest ways, but not by Liada, she flately said NO we don't have bags, she can only use one of the Apple Tree shopping bags, didn't bother to even look for the other bags, so I paid for an additional shopping bag only to find the thinner white bags at one of the other tills,. I don't mind paying for bags but why refuse to assist it was not a ridiculous request, I ask for the extra thin bag as the onions leave a strong smell in my car. In my opinion send LIada on a customer care course or find out why she is is miserable to your customers

I always have the greatest experience when I meet up with Apple Tree’s packer Eddie Kunene. He always makes the customers feel welcome and making jokes . Don’t get me wrong . He does that while doing his job. He deserves to be an employee of the year or century

What a terrible experience we had at Apple tree meadowdale today. I accompanied my Mom who is a pensioner to buy her grocery at her favorite store today which is apple tree meadowdale. We shopped as usual and went to pay at counter number 3. We kindly requested for a pensioners discount because it’s wednesday and my Mom took out her pension card to show the cashier. The cashier didn’t give us a discount instead she called her supervisor. The supervisor looked confused and asked her why she didn’t give us a discount, the cashier said she didn’t know. The supervisor said but it’s obvious that my Mom is a pensioner and she even showed her (the cashier) her card. The supervisor said there is unfortunately nothing she can do now because the cashier has already made us pay the full amount without giving us a discount. The supervisor really looked angry at the cashier but she was trying to control herself infront of us her customers. What bothers me and my Mom the most is a don’t care attitude the cashier had. She didn’t even look bothered and didn’t even bother to apologize. She seemed absent minded like the supervisor was not even talking to her. Where did you get such a horrible staff member ? My Mom loves your store and I always make sure I take her there even when it’s pensioners Wednesday because of the lovely experience we always have. From your cleaners to your cashiers you always have good staff. Where did you get this particular Terrible staff who works like they are doing a customer a Favour? How can she not know that we asked for a discount when we are regular customers there, when are politely asked for a pensioners discount still and showed her the usual pensioners card as proof? Fortunately the supervisor was standing near the cashier that’s why she was also frustrated. Even before we asked for a discount she seems absent minded like she doesn’t want to work. I had a very bad experience today while i was at the till about to pay for the cake i bought and some other items the cake opend and couldn't close properly, the cashier Letumile who assisted me had to leave the till as her colleague Shereeze was able to assist by going to the wrap the cake like the cashier has asked but Shereeze rufused too and told the cashier that she was busy with a rude attitude in the tone of her voice while she was not busy at all instead she turned around and continued speaking to one of the ladies who was also at the store I really appreciate the effort that the cashier put in to help me she actually left the till to go and wrap my cake at the bakery as for Shereeze i am very unhappy with the way she reacted while she was able to assist but she completely refused too assist!! It really upsets me too the core because I work around the area and i can say that i am a loyal customer who actually runs to the store for their weekly specials to now be treated like this, i must say that i had the worst experience that I will never forget!! #unhappycustomer😒😒😒😪💔 this was around 12:39 while i took some of my lunch time to get some things at the store.

I bought LONG LIFE milk (parmalat full cream) less than a week ago from Apple Tree Meadowdale mall. Upon opening EVERY SINGLE Carton, it is Off and separated. Ofcourse I dont have my slip to prove this and return the milk. I am beyond furious as this is not the first time stuff bought there is off and manky. Would going there and making a scene even help... I CANT NOT DEAL with disgusting customer service and they will most likely not take responsibility as per me not having my slip. So mad right now, milk is NOT CHEAP

Thumps up for providing more and more service to us in this difficult time especially the waiting time in queues. The lemons , garlic, ginger have kept us going. The pricing too haven't changed at all. Keep it up together we will fight this.
