On 22 April 2025, at approximately 10:10 A.M., I visited the General M. Siyothula Bus Station to top up my travel points, as my balance was running low. After entering the station, a cashier assisted me in recharging my account with R500.00. Upon exiting the station, I accidentally walked into a broken roller door that was hanging low at the exit. As a result, I sustained an injury to my face, near my right eye. The impact caused a cut that led to bleeding, and the area around the injury became swollen. I asked the station staff if they had an emergency kit to treat the wound, but unfortunately, the kit was not properly stocked and lacked the necessary items to manage the injury. I believe that this incident occurred due to negligence on the part of Areyeng management, who have a responsibility to ensure passenger safety. This duty includes maintaining all areas of the station—such as platforms, walkways, and exits—in a safe condition. The broken roller door posed a clear hazard, and no warning signs or precautionary measures were in place to alert customers. I therefore respectfully submit that this matter be addressed, and that appropriate steps be taken to remedy the situation.

An Areyeng bus driver with registration FF28CTGP, almost bumped my car this morning at boom street next to engender garage at 06:44 with his bad driving..he swayed on the lane I was driving on and almost bumped my car,his driving is bad ..had to make harsh braking and this almost caused a huge accident,this is unacceptable

The bus driver who was driving bus no4025 who was supposed to leave the bus stop at 17h40 at time square left at 17h39 ,he saw me running and coming to the bus stop immediately when i was about to get into the bus and take out the card he decided to leave .he drove off infround of me i thought he did not see me tried to wave even the marshall was surprised why he left at 17h39. He is so rude even yesterday he was passing people at the bus stops he is so rude very rude this is really not on now i have to wait another 20 minute for the bus whereas i got to the bus stop1 minute before . I am so ****ed very ****ed

This is the second time it's happening to me... 1st time it happened I was angry to the lady who was controlling the bus thought maybe she didn't get along with me only to find out that the lady tried to stop it but the driver refused Today on the 12/01/22 Nana Sita station it happened again ,bus number 3001 ,name of the driver is Tinties (07:44) He saw me running for the bus emmediately when I get to the door ,he drove off ..he left me,just like that and apparently he is used to doing this ..his colleagues are even complaing abt this...

Bus driver bad treatment! On the 27th September 2021, at around 17:30 I took a bus at Pretoria central to Loftus then supposed to drop off at Tuks bus stop. Bus number was 3002 (registration plate no FD 95 Areyeng bus). I requested a stop at Tuks, Lynwood road…the driver refused to stop and told us ‘he doesn’t stop there because he is not like any other bus driver and that we should go report him anyway that’s he’s bus and his order!’ Are this the kind of treatment we should subject to with monies that we pay everyday??? What bull**** is this? Honestly he’s the first Areyeng bus driver with so much ruthless treatment! Secondly, Areyeng does nit comply with lockdown regulations. We wait for about 30 min for a bus from PTA central to Hatfield…the bus is packed, more than 30 passengers standing, crowded no social distance!

They put me sanitizer on my hands and it was really smelling bad.... I told the security that was having the sanitizer that the sanitizer is smelling bad you have to change he said me l can't change it it's not my sanitizer... I asked him to tell his boss he said l will never tell anyone am kot the owner of areyeng..... Am very disappointed with your service my hands are smelling bad.....

I write to bring to your notice the highhandedness of staff at Areyeng Bus services in Ruth Mompati Station, Sunnyside. They have been becoming very bold and audacious in their misbehavior towards passengers during this lock-down period. Imagine, they ask for your work permit and ID and when you present the said documents they tell you its either fake, outdated or expired. How they reach such conclusions remains a mystery to every passenger they have turned away from using the bus service. Today I had to control myself from flying-off the wheel, hence, I have decided to do an official report. All their listed numbers on the website never works, as I have been trying to reach 012 358 4848 to no avail. Areyeng should kindly call their staff/personnel to order before this escalates and people take laws into their hands. Thank you and best of regards. Passenger...
