I bought a 1.25 l Coca-Cola at the Assenburg Supermarket in Van Der Stel, Port Elizabeth, on Wednesday 3 July 2019 and had to pay a deposit of R3.00 on the bottle. When I returned the bottle the owner refused to give me my R3 deposit back, saying he doesn't want empties. So I took my bottle back, but now I am still out of pocket. I know it's not much, but what must I now do with the bottle. Also, on the shelf in the fridge the price marker states R11.99, but at the till he charges R12.00, just imagine how much he scores if everybody just leaves the 1c. Needless to say, I will not support this shop ever again and will tell everybody about my experience. I sincerely hope that Coca-Cola checks these reviews and do something about it. This might have a small influence on their sales, but customer service is what is important.
