On the 16/09/2024, around 2pm-4pm at Spar Morning Field, I went shopping, and on my list was Goldi Chicken Livers, astral food. I bought 2× 250g tubs.On opening the Tubs,only to find inside, green Alien looking items,inside,formed like eggs and pieces laying their,one piece look like some type of old egg it had a stench, foul smell, and I immediately threw up.I was in complete shock and disgusted as we have bought chicken livers and eaten it since kids and at restaurants like Nando's and Spur and we have never seen, came across this ever.This was obviously a packaging of food items gone wrong.Imagine I just through the tub into a frying pan without removing the contents 1st and cooking it and my family had to be rushed due to food poisoning or worse die as this is a unknown item,why is it packaged with Chicken Livers? I kept the tubs with the proof.

My mame os Jacob.My wife is employed at Fesitve Farm.She was injured at work and therafter eas taken tp hospitaal.She suffered a knee injury which resulted into knee operation. Doctor bookef her off sick but the company decided not to pay her pay supposed to earn which ended om her accounts not being paid.She was told to come to work even if she is still on crutches so as company could claim for compensation.Injury on duty was completed by manager/supervisor instea of safety officer (no safety officer at that company. She is even working using crutches with no payment. She has to go to loan sharks to make ends meet.For this mpnth she wprkef fpr almost the whole month but still unpaod.She tried contacting hr who also coudnt help of which at wages she was told to fill in forms for leave to be paid which is not possible for employee with injury on duty.She even has to pay transport for doctors appointment.All required doctors letters were submitted to the company but nothing helped.labour law seems to be ignored as per above statement.

I laid a complaint on the 22nd of May when I was not happy with Goldi chicken I bought at Shoprite as it was basically bones.I did that via the Goldi page on Facebook and was told that they received my complaint and that was it.No feedback on what is happening whatsoever. I am really disappointed by all this as I have loved and supported this brand for years.

A spokesperson from Astral foods was on TV a week ago, where he made me aware of the nagative impact of electricity outages had on the production of their chicken products. In short, there is a series of production series from fertilized egg to a chicken on our tables and in our favorite chicken restaurants. He said without electricity, Astral foods encounter a lot of spoiled eggs which cannot be hatched to produce chicks. So, without chicks means that the will be no chickens... you do the maths. I am therefore applauding Astral Foods for doing their best to keep up with the supply of best chicken products like Goldi IQF in stores,restaurants and fast food outlets around the country. Somehow this translates to jobs to a lot of people along their production chains including supporting farms.

Hi there I bought a goldi 5kg from an Indian store and I had a family gathering the chicken tasted funny and some of my family member had a runny tummy. Since the chicken was a goldi brand I decided to query it with the supplier. I spoke to Susan and she said she wanted a picture and I did send it as per her request and she manage to pick up information on her side that it was packed by them. Couple of day ago she wanted a slip and I've told her that Indian shops don't produce slips. I've been having a bad customer service from her its like I'm not important or I'm lying because I'm black and she's white

I’m happy with their service, I had a complaint about one of their products and in no time they got back to me. They apologized for the fault a few days later send one of their reps Kgothatso who was very friendly and happy to assist. The replacement product was spectacular. Thank you
