On Monday 12 August 2024 around 9H10am, I went to deposit cash in one of their ATM's at White River Branch and I did enter the account holder account number. My name , contact number then it open for me to insert money and I did but it couldn't take the whole amount then I took some of the money out then it accepted the rest and start processing as usual but soon after that I saw a message saying an error has occurred and I waited for the ATM to return the money but it didn't stood for some time amazed by what happened I counted the rest of the money that was in my hands which was R3850.00 which means the money in the ATM was R11 600.00 and the ATM went back to normal> I ask one of the male consultants who was helping someone next to me and he said I must call the account holder to see if she received it and she said no then he said we must go inside the branch to log a call I went in he was slow and I was late for work then they give me their call center number and the security gave me the atm number to log a call of which I did as soon as I was at work. Now the said they were only be able to retrieve R800 from that ATM not R11 600.00 and my query has been denied. I have already got 3 different reference numbers and spoke to 3 different consultants. Then I went to the branch they said they cannot assist me they want an email from their head office first then they can view he cameras on the other hand my sister is still waiting for her money in Witbank which she wants to use immediately.
