I purchased a Hyundai Grand i10 1.2 on 26 July 2024, through Audi Autohaus Centurion, Unfortunately, within a week of taking delivery of the vehicle, I began experiencing several mechanical issues. Initial Faults: The rear right tail light and the left door window winder were not functioning. I immediately reported this to the sales consultant who assisted me with the purchase, Ms. Julia Kapeng. These issues were attended to and resolved promptly. Brake Vibration: I noticed significant vibration when braking at high speeds (between 80–120 km/h). I reported this issue to Ms. Kapeng as well. Thankfully, this matter was also resolved. Engine Noise and Oil Levels: Later that same month, I started hearing unusual noises coming from the engine. Upon further inspection, I discovered that the vehicle had no engine oil. I recorded a video to document the issue and sent it to Ms. Julia Kapeng, who acknowledged it. The same video was later shown to Mr. Cameron Howell from management. Unfortunately, despite this, the matter was not addressed at the time. Due to the lack of response, I took the initiative to activate my warranty and report the noise. The vehicle was taken to Hyundai Hatfield for inspection. Their findings revealed malfunctioning tappets on the exhaust side of the engine. This issue was resolved under warranty. Recent Mechanical Faults (2025): On 9 July 2025, I experienced a rattling sound coming from the front left tyre. The repair team diagnosed faulty components, specifically the ball joint and stabilizer link which are currently being repaired. Suspected Accident Damage: Additionally, I recently noticed markings made with a white marker on the vehicle’s front components, including the headlights and fan section. This raises concerns that these parts may have been replaced or the vehicle was involved in a front-end collision prior to the sale. I am kindly requesting your urgent attention to this matter. Given the frequency and nature of the problems encountered, I am seeking clarity on the vehicle's history and request the inspection report and reconditioning records. I have since spoken to Mr Camaron Howell(manager) from the Pre-Owned (Second-Hand) Department concerning these matters. Unfortunately, in his response, he denied several of the concerns I raised about the condition of the vehicle. I then requested a copy of the inspection report or reconditioning record for the car. The only record i got from Camaron was the clients declaration, hand written list of what they did.

I bought used Audi A6 and my story is very long. My advice to anyone buying used car from Audi Centurion. Check all documents service history number and number of previous owners because these people can play around with the truth to an extend of faking workshop inspection vs actual condition of vehicle, just to avoid spending on repairs in order to sell the vehicle quick and less. Instead of rushing to get the vehicle quick rather spend R1000 and book the vehicle to a nearby workshop to a full Diognostic and inspection do not trust the inspection they say they do at workshop the sales people via their manager can **** it. It happened to me I know what I am talking about as I later got inside information of how they work. Once all above is done you can then decide to buy or not to buy. The service received was terrible.

I bought an Audi Q3 from Audi Centurion in May 2024. On the 12th of July 2024, I reversed out of my garage and heard a very loud noise. I contacted Audi Assist and they collected my car on a flatbed truck. I was informed that the rear (left) stabilizer broke off. This was replaced. On the 22nd of November 2024, the same noise could be heard from the rear right side of the vehicle. Again, Audi Roadside assist loaded my car on a flat bed truck and took in to Audi Centurion. Since the mechanical faults on the vehicle are serious, I requested a replacement vehicle to which the sales representative and dealer principal agreed. I have also asked the current finance to be transferred to the new car (I confirmed with an F&I expert that this is possible). They have agreed to give this commitment in writing to me, which to date has not happened. I have witnesses that can confirm this. They have been looking for a replacement vehicle since the 22nd of November 2024, and after many empty commitments, I was now informed by Audi SA that they will not replace the vehicle. The excuses given to me over this time: my car is highly 'specked' - they can't find a similar vehicle anywhere, the second excuse was the numbers are not adding up, the third excuse was that I have driven more than 11 000kms with the car, and the last excuse is that I have had the care more than 6 months. The sales representative, Keagen Davids, admitted that the car had mechanical faults. After almost four weeks of back-and-forth, they now told me they were not going to replace the vehicle. After they made a commitment. This is absolutely disappointing. I will be seeking further legal assistance.

Absolutely Shocking Service and non disclosure of severe mechanical defects from this dealership. Purchased a used Q5, I was told it was a 2020 Model however when I collected the vehicle to my surprise the registration papers showed it as a 2019 model. Within a week of having the vehicle, there were issues with the vehicle starting. When I took it to a dealership that was closer to my house, I was informed that the car had a major mechanical defect, which had let to Audi Replacing a cylinder head on the engine just 3 months before I purchased the vehicle. Besides the fact that this was never disclosed to me, when I discussed the issue with the salesman, he ensured me that I could bring it in for them to try and fix the issue with the car starting and they would provide me with a courtesy vehicle. When I took the vehicle in on the date and time agreed, I was passed around the service centre, eventually being told they do not provide courtesy vehicles. Due to this deceit, I was late for my job that day which let me to loosing my day of pay. When I tried to get hold of the Dealer Principle, Stefan, he was never available, and when emails were sent, they were ignored. In the first 3 months of owning this vehicle; it has been in an Audi Dealership Workshop for over 1 month in total. The vehicle goes into Limp mode; won’t start and had issues with the turbo boost pressure sensor, glow plug control unit as well as all 4 disks and brake pads having to be replaced within 6 weeks because they were out of spec, yet Audi Centre Centurion didn’t pick up any of these faults. Absolutely disgusting service, as well as ***** from Audi Centre Centurion which is being taken further legally due to the refusal of the Dealership to remedy the situation. Avoid this dealership at all costs! It will cost you a fortune!

ONCE AGAIN. I am writing to express my frustration with the vehicle I purchased from Audi Autohaus Centurion. The MAG wheels are damaged, and despite informing Audi Autohaus Centurion about my upcoming trip to Cape Town and the need for the vehicle to be roadworthy for a safe journey, the vehicle has not been adequately repaired. My primary concern is how the vehicle passed a roadworthiness test given the reported issues. This raises significant doubts about the thoroughness of the inspection process and the vehicle's overall condition. I urgently request a thorough review of this matter and a detailed explanation of how the vehicle was certified as roadworthy despite these problems. Please advise on the immediate steps to resolve these issues and ensure the vehicle is safe for travel.

I had interactions with two representatives: Teboho from Centurion and Riaan from Hatfield. Despite multiple follow-ups, neither provided the quotes I requested. Teboho insisted on having my ID, while Riaan completely ignored my messages. For a luxury brand, the service is worse than the postal services in this country. Extremely disappointing!

I recently purchased a preowned Audi A6 from Audi Autohaus Centurion, and unfortunately, the service I've received has been quite disappointing. I reported two issues with the vehicle: The speakers are damaged, causing a crackling noise. There is a noticeable knock when reversing. Despite sending the vehicle in for repairs, which took over a week, these problems persist. This leaves me questioning what was actually done during that time. Additionally, I am not impressed with the level of service I’ve received from the sales staff and the sales manager. I expected a much higher standard of service from a reputable dealership like Audi Autohaus Centurion. I hope these issues are resolved promptly, as this experience has been far from satisfactory.

Audi Centurion worked on our car (Audi brand). After the challenges were brought to their attention, not only did they agree on negotiating the price but they went an extra mile and did the following: 1. They remained professional throughout. 2. They arranged a courtesy vehicle to meet us half way from the beginning of the fixing of the car until the end. 3. When I needed extra work to be done on the vehicle, I was assisted within the short notice. 4. I was allowed to negotiate the price without affecting the quality of the work on the vehicle What makes this experience interesting is the fact that even on instances where we differed, we did so with respect throughout. I was treated like a decent and appreciated client. Special appreciation to the Audi Centurion Team, especially Ms Jasmine (Service Advisor) Marthinus (Service Manager) and the Dealer Principal. Regards Ayanda
