Terrible after sales service

I Purchased a vehicle from this company because almost all my friends bought their cars from this company for years.

Trusting the company in buying cars f rom them I did so.

The manager Ricky fixed some minor issues we had with the vehicle where the radiatorwas repaired (knowing its not a brand new car it is expected)

Upon collection of the vehicle on December 2022 I told the manager the car is making a funny noise at the engine a ñ d he said hw will contact me so his workshop can see what the issue is. My wife drove the car for a while and got a flat tyre in the middle of nowhere in suikerbosrand on a Fridat late afternoon.

I rushed through to help her change the tyre because she said the spare jack is not working properly ( incorrect jack was supp****), upon arrival I took my jack, and realised the spare rim PCD is completely incorrect.

The next morning I phoned the manager and he apologised, said he will have it exchanged but he needs to get a rim and jack because they don't have.

The following few week went by where I phoned John ( the sales person) numerous times, and he said he will ask Ricky to phone me. This is now months that has passed and the noise in the engine was a timing chain issue where one of the bolts was broken...

I took my car for new tyres and the tyre company told me the front left axle , the shock, and the control arm is all bent and said they think this car was in a accident. And cannot do wheel Alignment on the vehicle.

So I got upset and phoned them again and sent the owner a email explaining my situation.

Being in sales myself I understand customers being difficult so I didn't hassle them too much.

But now I changed the timing chain, the water pump, bought my own spare tyre and rim with the correct pcd, and a proper jack for the car out of my own pocket.

The thing that upsets me is they are extremely helpful and polite, but once you signed their purchase contract they use that as the perfect weapon to protect themselves.

And the engine check , and exchange of the tyre and jack was never done as promised ( they told me I should have brought the car in and they will help) uhm...... I WAS WAITING FOR THE PHONE CALL FROM R ICKY TO DO EXACTLY THAT, BUT YOU CAN NEVER GET HOLD OF THAT "MANAGER".

The car being in a accident I was told they roadworthy company didn't see anything wrong ( yeah, right! )

All I wanted was them to give me the correct spare and jack, what is so wrong with that??

Anyway,

I will NEVER buy a vehicle from them again,and I also advised my family and friends about my terrible and pathetic experience at this place.

There is no such thing as after sales service at this company. All you get is empty promises and excuses.
