It is now March 2017 and my car has broken again - for the 4th time - and they have said that I must (for the 3rd time) drop my car off at their workshop. Which I think is rediculous because it isn't my fault nor my responsibility to run after them, after terrible workmanship and terrible customer service.

I refused and Johan told me in so many words "HAVE A NICE DAY"

Please DO NOT make the same mistake I did buy purchasing a vehicle through them.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO SAY THE LEAST

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Autoleisure in Van Der Bijl Park (middle of January 2016)
All was well until 2 weeks ago (Friday 10.06.2016) when she lost all power, while driving.

I called Autoleisure the following day and spoke to Johan (the person who sold the car to me) to find out what I should do as I've only had the car a short while and now this. He then told me that I should call an RMI approved workshop to fix it OR I could drive it to his office so that he could send it in to the workshop to take a look. Given that the car had no power and I had concerns that the car wouldn't even make it there - I live in Benoni which is at least an hour from van der Bijl Park - I opted to have it towed to an RMI workshop near me and the towing was free.

Only after it was towed to this workshop, was I informed (by this workshop, no less) that this car is still under implied warranty as I've only had her for 5 months! Johan failed to mention this when I called him. So I called Johan, and he immediately got defensive, saying that he told me to bring it to him so his workshop could take a look, which isn't the whole truth.

Now, I had to get my car back but, the towing is only free if you are using their services to fix the car, thus the towing charge is now R750 (which Johan refused to take responsibility for) For the sake of getting the ball rolling on repairing my car - I payed the R750 and I made a plan to take it through to Autoleisure on Thursday 16.06.2016.

Since then Johan has gone on leave and left Carel to deal with my car and since then I have not received any calls from Carel, not even one, despite promises on 3 occassions to call me with info from the workshop. I have made roughly a dozen calls to them in the last week to find out whats going on, and so far they haven't even been able to tell me WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE CAR, let alone IF AND/OR WHEN THEY CAN FIX IT. And then yesterday, when I called for the 2nd time, he says that they think it might be the head gasket. Now, I'm pretty sure that if it was, I wouldn't have been able to make it from Benoni to Van Der Bijl Park at roughly 100km p/h without overheating and possibly seizing - my temp gauge never once passed the halfway mark in the hour it took me to get to Autoleisure. I made this clear to Carel when I dropped the car off... I also informed Johan before I brought the car that there was no oil in the water and no water in the oil...

I know it isnt their responsibility to offer me a courtesy car but, given that they have taken a week and still dont even know what's wrong, I dont think it's asking too much... I explained to Carel, that Thursday, that this car is my only means of transport and up until now I've been fortunate enough to have my cousin drop me off at work and collect me again but, you can also only ask for so long...

I have spent roughly R1100 just to get my car towed back to me and to drive 2 cars to van der bijl park so that I would have a means to get home. I have payed a further R1300 in petrol for the week to my cousin for taking me to work and back this week. I have been without a car for 2 weeks - one of which it has stood at their workshop. I just need this to be sorted out now because I can't go on like this. If it takes this long to find out what's wrong with the car - how long is it going to take to still fix the car??

I have been more than patient, understanding, and courteous but, now I just feel like I'm being taken for a ride and I've been shown no courtesy in return.
