On the 14th October 2023 , I purchased a Rentech JPC12-100 deep cycle battery from Supaquick, Dundee for R4200. This was to be used to supply my TV and decoder only during load shedding. At the beginning of February I noticed the battery was not holding its charge and I returned it to Supaquick for a guarantee claim. I was informed that the representative of Auto-X (the supplier) would be doing his rounds and an attempt would be made to resolve the issue. No response from Auto-X, but was able to obtain the name and email address of a rep, Richard, who informed me that the battery has only got a 3 month guarantee, despite the fact that Supaquick led me to believe that it had a 12 month warranty. There is no way that I would have bought or paid R4200 for a battery with such a limited warranty. Richard did inform me that he would try and arrange some form of compensation. The silence has been deafening.

We bought 2 portable inverters (PPS 750W) and both failed within the first year and they were not overloaded. The first one failed to give any AC out and the second second one had an overload issue even though only a TV was used for power. They replaced the first one within a few weeks. The second one has been with them for more than 2 months and still no feedback has been given and the service at the Menlyn Branch is pathetic and it's almost impossible to get through to Head Office. It's because there is no financial benefit for them Rentech/Auto-X with after sales service and that's why they don't care about the customer. Now Rentech is sitting with my Money and my PPS 750W leaving me with nothing.

Supplied me with two batteries for my inverter - less than a year on and the batteries are totally unusable. My installer has tried to contact them for replacement and they are not responding. Three other clients have the same issue. They are very quick to sell you the batteries but won’t respond when there is a problem. This is a division on Willard’s and it is shameful.

Vivian van Tonder installed mysolar system. There were some serious teething problems, but Vivian was as tenacious a man as I have ever seen. He was at my house and on the phone to me every day for more than a week, Weekends, after hours included. He persevered doggedly until he could say: "We have won". I am very happy with my solar system and extremely impressed with Vivian! What an example to others!

Good day I had a very bad customer experience with one of the business representatives by the name of Rudy Naidoo. I have a business of which I wanted to buy cash batteries for Sabat or Willard because I have customers who are interested in buying. Rudy came to my shop we spoke and he promised to send an email the following day of which he never did. I went an extra mile to contact him via watsapp and calls. He ignored my texts and my calls until I asked to use someone’s phone that’s when he answered. He gave him a piece of his mind after that I received an email stating that my application was declined due to useless reasons. I wanted to buy for cash as a new business woman to empower myself but I don’t know what was his reasons to give me such poor service. I don’t know whether is it because im a woman and the color of my skin hence bad treatment. I’m hoping someone matured and reasonably can be able to assist me as I’m still willing to buy batteries

<p>Last year September I bought a new car, November I took my car to Auto-X-sec in witbank to install a car tracker, alarm and immobiliser, but on February car car started yo give me a problem I took a car to dealership and they conducted their check and didn't find anything wrong on their side and advised me to check with tracker people,I contacted Auto-X-sec they send me to other company in Durban because now I am staying there because of work. They check and didn't find anything but on their report they mantion that it might be a alarm I did understand because everything was installed in 1 company, problem continues I took a car back to dealership and told them to took the car back to dealership because it was no longer useful sometimes I left in a house and took public transport, I was turned to a laghing stock at work and to my friends always asking to be boosted. </p> <p> </p> <p>They asked a company from Durban that I was transfer too, to come and conduct their check on their present, the pick up something that alarm wiring are faulty and dealership contacted Auto-X-sec but they became very rude to a dealership, they even hang up a phone , dealership told me that they tried to help me but not the alarm company they used is not approved on their cars, that make my car lost a warranty with them. I tried to contact auto-x-sec so we can talk about how they gonna fix this mess but they hang up on me saying the dealership is talking nonsense, I even send my sister live in with witbank but they came rude and shouted at her saying they tired of that car, other day I got a call from other company from Durban (different company) coming to check on my alarm and the guy agree with dealership and first company guy that alarm is not installed right and they used wrong unit for my car, I asked him to took out everything cause I was tired and suffered too much, and he did as I asked. since than my car is okay but the problem is I don't have a alarm and immobiliser while I paid for it iam still trying to get hold of auto-X-sec they not answer my calls and if I used other number to call them the hang up on me, I want my money back so I can installed it a trusted and approved company.Auto-X-sec must fall the putted my life in danger.</p> <p> </p>
