Subject: Urgent Complaint: Faulty Fuel from Sasol Cosmo City & ********* Auto Care Service To whom it may concern, I am writing to lodge a serious complaint against Auto Care Service Center and Sasol Cosmo City. I am deeply frustrated and financially drained after a chain of events that have left me without a working vehicle and unable to earn a living. I initially took my vehicle to Auto Care for repairs and paid R9,800. Within a week, the car broke down again. Upon inspection, Auto Care informed me that the fuel I had filled at Sasol Cosmo City was contaminated, which caused significant engine damage. I was charged R20,000 for further repairs. After supposedly fixing it, I received the car back with a strange sound – similar to a police siren. Willem, the owner of Auto Care at the time, told me this noise would disappear in a week. It never did. He also assured me that he had submitted a claim to Sasol Cosmo City for reimbur*****t due to the contaminated fuel – but I received no confirmation, no communication, and no resolution from either party. Soon after, my car broke down again, and to my dismay, I discovered that Auto Care had closed down and rebranded as Mzansi Auto Works. Willem has since disappeared, leaving me with a broken car and a debt of nearly R30,000 – all caused by either negligence or dishonesty. This is unacceptable. I am now without a vehicle, unable to work, and struggling financially. I feel cheated, ******, and abandoned by both the repair center and Sasol. As customers, we put our trust in these businesses, and we deserve transparency, accountability, and justice. I demand the following: A full investigation into the contaminated fuel sold at Sasol Cosmo City. Reimbur*****t for the repairs directly caused by this fuel – totaling R20,000. Accountability from Willem and Auto Care / Mzansi Auto Works for false promises and shoddy repairs. We are all trying to make ends meet, and it is unfair to be treated like this. Please take this matter seriously and respond urgently. I am prepared to escalate this complaint to the Consumer Commission, Ombudsman, and the media if no immediate action is taken

I have a problem with my car battery thats not charging right, aswell as my radio switching of when i press in the brake and asked them to check. They said that a starter wire was lose and my battery terminals was to short and they fixed it and added a earth wire. Cos the earth wire on the negative terminal was sort and not making contact. They told me to come fetch my kar and pay... So i did that just to come home and when i had to go again the car went crazy was flikering on the screen didnt want to start, not even theremote wanted to work on the car. So i went to them and said there was nothing wrong with my car i drove it to them and know it doesnt want to start they must comefetch the car and make there mistake right. Waited till 16h00 the afternoon. When they fwtched my car and didnt hear anything for an entire weekend intill my hubby called and asked whats going on. They said it was a wire on the negative terminal.... But it was replaced then the first time we had the car their. Or so we thought. My car is full of scratches bumps the wipers doesnt work the clutch is bearly everything that had no problem. The reception lady was rude and disrespectful due to we arent gonapay for something they already fixed. And she said red flag we must go. So know my car has the same problemit had bwfore we took it to them and more... Now the clutch bearly works, the wipers doesnt work and my car has dents and scratches all over. I took a video of my car before it went and they are disrespectful charged us for something thats not fixed and caused us more problems. And refuse to make there mistake right.

They only care about their pockets! Took my car to be washed. First of all they are more expensive than any other car wash in Centurion or Pretoria. Got the so-called 5 star wash (supposed to be inside and outside). But according to them my boot was too dirty for them to clean or even vacuum. Apparently they charge more if there is sand or mud in or on your car. WHY DO YOU THINK I BROUGHT MY CAR TO BE WASHED??? BECAUSE IT IS DIRTY!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE SHARKS!

I recently had a very unpleasant and expensive experience with a local vehicle repairer A.J.S Auto Service Centre. (Shallcross moving Township to old AG’s sweet warehouse location) After quoting me an amount for over R10 000 and insisting on 50% deposit this Very Christian father (Anthony) and son duo proceeded to immobilize my vehicle claiming they were getting parts from Johannesburg. After 5 weeks of “wrong part supplied”, I requested the return of my vehicle only to be insulted, bullied, accused of being rude for interrupting their lunch and threatened with additional charges to be tacked onto me bill. Even after agreeing to pay the monies demanded, I was told it would take another week to assemble the vehicle with no repairs done. It was only through a third-party mechanic, I was able to get my vehicle assembled and repaired by replacing 2 fuses, then vehicle was driven away. Being born in Chatsworth and now living in Johannesburg, I try my best to spend my money with Indian business in my home town but after this experience I have serious doubts on doing this again. Please alert you family and friends to be cautious and only use RMI approved dealers.
