WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER for physically challenged (disabled person) like myself. Firstly, they told me fixing my gasket would take maximum 3 weeks. They started on the car 2 days late for starters. Then, after paying for gasket set nearly a month ago, nearly 3 weeks into the fixing, they suggested replacing pistons but **** about the time it would take to source them. Instead of getting them on the 9th Feb 2023 and couriering them as promised for receipt on 9th, they came a week later! So 4 weeks later:still no car. Then, they ordered 1 instead of 4 spark plugs - another delay. Finally, after agreeing to replace clutch, an apology was provided and the vendor blamed for late pistons. I was supposed to get my car back today. In the meantime, due to delays and commuting, I fell ill subsequent to having to travel taking 3 buses to work in the morning! I explained this to the company who is aware of my disability. No empathy. No olive-branch gesture offered on their part. These are greedy, cold folk who offer only an apology. Instead, today, they had the fine cheek to suggest I pay for yet ANOTHER PART! They also tried to charge me extra labour when stripping for the piston examination, even though I already paid for that, so on the invoice, they charged me again, reneging on the agreement for no extracost on labour for that. I paid R1500.00 to examine pistons. Finally, upon expecting my vehicle back today (I booked off work due to ill health), they come back now telling me that there is YET another gasket seal required - even though the gasket payment and fixing was the very 1st part of this drawn-out job, and that was the 1st payment I made! If indeed, no one damaged the gasket seal bought by me ages ago - and paid for - and if no one is charging me for another client's gasket deal, then it comes down to TERRIBLE INCOMPETENCE. Matthew, Gerard, Kay, Dan and their crew have really disappointed. A friend has even asked if my car is even at their workshop. Someone else suggested I sue. I was nice enough not to mention the name of this company to friends and family but why should I respect them when they have no respect for honouring verbal contracts or quotes? I hope never to have to return within the guarantee period. So over all, of the hogwash and stories certainly do not balance out any free coffee they offered me. It is not coffee I seek or expect at this point. I WANT MY CAR BACK IN ONE PIECE, WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY FOR ANYTHING EXTRA BEYOND THE ORIGINAL QUOTE. UNLIKE these people, I am not out to make a quick buck as some con artist. I have paid for 75% of the work or even more. Disgusting. Mel Anon
