I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. My monitor unit unfortunately fell (it was a minor fall) and the screen was damaged. I contacted the company to request repairs or to purchase spare parts, which I believe is a reasonable expectation. I was then informed that they do not offer repairs or spare parts locally because the units are manufactured in China. In other words, once the product is damaged, there is effectively no after-sales support available in South Africa. Instead of providing a repair solution or replacement parts, I was offered the option to purchase a full demo monitor at additional cost. This is not a solution — it is simply an attempt to sell another unit. The lack of local support, spare parts, or repair options reflects very poorly on the company’s commitment to its customers. Consumers should be aware that if something goes wrong with their unit, they may be left without any practical repair option. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company and will not be purchasing from them again. I purchased a different brand at half the cost of BabyWombWorld’s demo unit, supp**** by a company that actually offers proper local support, spare parts, and repair services.

My wife and I received a brand new BabyWombWorld Video Baby Monitor (BWW802) as a gift at the baby shower a year ago. It worked great up until recently when the monitor no longer picked up the camera feed. The units have never been dropped, in fact the hardware is in perfect condition, and this seems to be purely a software issue. Unfortunately, the person who gifted us the product no longer had the slip and as such BabyWombWorld refuses to even take a look. I mean, how hard can it be to just check the software? Couple this with unhelpful customer care agents and you pretty much sum up our experience with BWW. Needless to say, we can't do without a camera and monitor just yet, so I shopped around on takealot and found the exact, yes 100% exact same monitor and camera (just branded differently) for R828. That means BWW is charging you an additional R1567 just for their branding on the product. Whats even more frustrating is that the new Monitor picks up the BWW branded camera, telling me the the issue is very much a software problem on the BWW monitor. At least we have 2 camera's now... We will not be purchasing products from them again!

I am happy with my handsfree breast pump, but dissapointed with the way they treated me when I reported that the bottle of the breast pump shrunk. They made me feel as if I am lying to them, and it felt like they didn't believe me when I told them what happend.

Utterly disappointed. I bought the double electric breast pump October 2023, used it 6 months and now again for 4 months. It only works one side had it checked at their office it is the pump,so I cannot buy any replacement spares. They cannot fix the pump either. My only option is to buy a demo pump from them. I am so disgusted to day the least. It was such an expensive pump and supposed to be one of the best, to only break after actual use of 10 months. I should have just bought a Spectra. Very disappointed that they dont even help you. Warrany is one year and thats that sorry to hear, you can buy a new one. Really???

04/05/05 from Takealot ordered an extra-length minimalist camp cot and playpen and an extra-length latex bay bamboo mattress for the cot as a gift for the baby shower on 1/06/05. When the cot was opened to set up for inspection, a smelly odor was detected, and on further investigation, it was evident that the new cot was a used cot and that it was not even cleaned. This Company is selling used, dirty, vomit-covered cots as new. and Takealot is declining refunds in favor of this Company. Must be family. Do not purchase baby products from them it is extremely dangerous for your baby's health.

Your ever so useless Portable Nebulizer was good for ONE use only and after that it just refused to work. Completely unreliable in a dire situation when my 3 month old infant was sick and needed to be nebulised. I had to go out and purchase a proper Nebulizer from Dischem because your product is so defective and only works when it feels like. How do you pride yourself in being a supplier of quality products when you have left me helpless in a time of need? What if your product decided to stop working in the middle of the night?? How was I to Nebulize my baby then?? I cannot believe that you are not willing to take responsibility for selling a defective product. I definitely would not recommend BabyWombWorld products to any mothers nor would I ever purchase a product of yours again after the dismal experience I had. No response from customer service either! Absolutely pathetic

You can never go wrong ordering from them. Great service always, orders are dispatched to the couriers same day. I ordered from another company a while back and still regret not using BabyWombWorld again. With my newest purchase I ordered from them and received my order within 2 business days. Thank you

Purchased a Babywomb (nannycam). It broke because I dropped it. I bought the item via Takealot. Upon tracing the supplier I was able to get in touch with them and explain what had happened. I was then advised to bring in the items for repairs in a different city. I did that only to have the assistant plug the camera in and she said, if it is broken they cannot fix it! I was shocked, to say the least, I then enquired if they had a technician in-house. The lady explained that the technician will plug the camera... I argued that I was not there to get the item plugged in but needed it to be fixed. You cannot call someone a technician for plugging the camera now really. She said he could FORCE the camera to open because it had no *****s so it "cannot be opened." This was escalating because her answers were very poor. She then told her colleague what the issue was. The colleague went on to say the items are imported and cannot be fixed. The best option would be to purchase another one at R400 less than the normal R1400. I can't believe such a big company does not have a qualified technician for their products. There goes my R1400 down the drain.
