Disappointing Experience – Paid Premium, Received Poor Service
We recently stayed at 27 Santorini Perissa, which we booked through Ballito Accommodation via Airbnb, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The air conditioner did not work for the duration of our stay. Considering that this is Ballito and the weather is hot and humid, a functioning air conditioner is not a luxury — it’s a basic necessity. What made it worse is that we most certainly did not pay a cheap rate for this unit. For the price charged, one would expect everything to be in proper working order. Each time we raised the issue, we were simply told by Bridget and Khanyi that “the technician is on their way.” This was the same response repeatedly, yet nothing was resolved while we were there. It felt like we were being brushed off rather than assisted. There was no real sense of urgency, no alternative solution offered, and no accountability taken. It is unacceptable to charge premium rates for accommodation where essential amenities do not function, and even more unacceptable to provide empty reassurances instead of actual service. Sadly, this stay did not meet even basic expectations, and we would not recommend this unit based on our experience.

The Best Ever!
I want to give a massive shout out to Shiloana and Simone', I had an unfortunate situation with my stay in Ballito and they were so accommodating and professional in helping me sort it out, if was not for them I would have lost a huge amount of money. I recommend Ballito Accommodation if you are looking for place to stay in Ballito. I have used them for a few years now and I will always support them, I will never use anyone else. Thank you guys for giving me and my family the best Christmas ever, you rock! Stay true :)

The Best Ever!

Absolutely amazing service!
What a wonderful experience dealing with Christine and the team. Absolute benchmark of how a rental company should be run. I would highly recommend Ballito Accommodation to anyone who wants a seamless holiday booking experience. Top top notch. Keep it up, guys.

Ballito Accommodation - bad service
Would not recommend booking through this agency. Accommodation were sub-standard, leaking shower, ceiling fan not working, and bedding that should have been replaced ages ago- Unit booked: Chaka Sands nr 10. We were further exposed to noise pollution for the whole week that we were there. We complaint a number of times to Ballito Accommodation that the noise from The Villas are unbearable, worst is my grand daughter of 1 year were exposed to this. The occupants of Villa nr 4 partied till the early hours of the morning, making sleep impossible. To make matters worse Ballito Accommodation did not warn us of the high levels of E.Coli in the water. My grand daughter ended up in hospital where tests confirmed that she were exposed to E.Coli. That after she was only on the beach twice during our stay due to bad weather.

Excellent Customer Service
Excellent customer service from Ballito Accommodation. My many questions and queries were answered with so much politeness and patience. The gas tank on the braai stand ran out of gas during our Sunday evening braai. We called after hours and were assisted in less than half an hour with a replacement tank! Due to us living far from the coast, unexpected circumstances and a whole lot of packing delayed us. We called and they were understanding and kind enough to let us leave a few minutes later. I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for my family and I being treated so well. The unit we had for the weekend was perfect. Fully equipped, clean and comfortable for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Ballito Accommodation for your next family vacation.
