We spent the Valentine’s weekend at Bass Lake Lodge and enjoyed their hospitality, beautiful room with bar fridge, coffee and tea, very neat, clean and serviced daily. The food from Spencers restaurant was excellent and 5 star. Linelle the pastry chef baked marvelous cakes for tra times. A few big dams with fishing is were I spent a lot of time relaxing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for this lodge.

From booking to leaving the resort is only a pleasant experience. Minutes after your arrival in the caravan park, you are treated with a ice cold class of fruit juice. The management of the resort is always visible, chatting here and giving instructions to staff over there. The ablutions are meticulously maintained 24/7. The whole resort is in mint condition. Thank you Bass Lake Lodge.

I took the children camping and fishing for the long weekend. We had a relaxing time, played air hockey, table tennis, fishing and walking on the property. I then booked dinner for Saturday night. The menu is simple and the service amazing. We had marrow bone starters - the most stupendous taste I ever had. My 200g filled was melting in my mouth. @Rico Bezuidenhout had calamari and squid heads....he was so surprised and named it his best meal in year. @Louize Levinson Oosthuizen ordered the pork belly with the most incredible cabbage on the side---the pleasure was written on her face...she was blown away by the taste. Well done to the chef and staff.

My company booked a strat session and due to unforeseen reasons (death) had to postpone.
The owner Leon, hasn't even acknowledged the agents email(sent 15 June)!!! and we are two weeks down the line...
The girl i spoke to over the phone tentatively booked our new dates BUT nobody has confirmed them and it's for next week! I was also told my boss signed a cancellation contract (when i asked for this contract, they never had one). They are now not responding to an email sent on Sunday 28 June.
Bass Lake has been paid in full (R30 000) and we were NOT cancelling, we were/wanting to postpone dates due to a death! i do believe they are being insensitive.
