I received my 8 piece Bastille cookware set as a wedding gift in 2002. I have had AMC pots before in my life and as the man in the house and an experimental chef, I cook for my family most of the time. I was wondering whether Bastille could compare to AMC. Well, 20 years later, I still have my set of Bastille pots...shiny like new....and I use them daily! They are made to the same high quality as AMC and cook exactly the same. There is no need to spend so much on other pots! My temp gauges and handles are all still perfect and I will buy Bastille again. But there is no need to because these pots are still perfect. I love my pots so much I don't let other people use them and I wash them myself........because others don't care for your stuff like you do.
