Bad service
They are not responding to e-mails, had to follow up every email sent to them. Did not even bother to acknowledge the email sent with proof of payment. So annoyed with the service. I recently used W D Saayman attorneys , very efficient

Saddle up with a winning team at Bert Smith Inc
I've got to admit, I wasn't sure about this firm. I always used a big PMG based generalist firm that also does conveyancing. But Bert Smith are a breath of fresh air. Slick, quick and thorough. I've read through all the commentary here and I can only say to other clients, when acquiring or desposing of property, stay close to your phone and watch your emails. Also, this is not Germany or Japan. The deeds offices in SA are not always open. But having said that, Bert Smith make property transfer logical and stress free. It's pretty much all they do and whatever your needs are, they've done it before. Razor-sharp, highly experienced team.

Excellent service received - Bond and Transfer process went smooth. They even allocated a mobile attorney to my matter to sign any documentation at a venue and place recommended by myself. I can strongly recommend Bert Smith Inc for any property related process.

Better than we could have imagined
The entire process of selling your house and living in another country is stressful, so when embarking on this journey we wanted someone with a great reputation. As the sellers we requested Jeanie McLeod to deal with the Transfer. Jeanie was always happy to answer any questions we might have had, provided constant feedback so that we could track where we were and included the agents in the communications. It was an absolute pleasure to have dealt with Bert Smith Inc during this process and I am happy to recommend them to any buyer/seller.
