After 2 months after fitting my rear brake pads and disks my brake pads are worn out. I went to go visit Best Drive Harties to enquire about the time frame it takes for brake pads to get worn out and I certainly believe that it is not 2 months. Upon visiting the branch, my car keys were requested but I was not informed that my vehicle was being taken for a test drive, surely you need permission to drive someone's car correct? After trying to stop the car while it was in motion, I was completely ignored - nice! The car was shortly returned to the testing booths, were a cellphone torch was used to check my brake pads and it was "confirmed" that my front brake pads were worn out. Incredible, I think I need to purchase the cellphones used to detect issues - they must be one of a kind! I then proceeded to ask the mechanic if it had been impossible to see this diagnosis two months ago and he mentioned that he doesn't know, nor does he know WHO fixed the car with the rear brake pads two months ago - Perfect no paper trail whatsoever. BEST DRIVE YOU REALLY NEED TO SHUT DOWN.

what a shi...t place, they do tyre repairs but they refuce to take off the front wheel of my schooter to be fixed, too much work for them, and then all the staff is only standing around. wont support them any more, i used to take my cat to them every time, oh i forgot its harties dqamb snobs in this area.

Nearly a year ago I bought a battery by them they installed the battery after about 8 months my car started locking and unlocking itself. Saturday afternoon I heard a popping sound and my car didn’t wanted to start. I took my car to get checked out by a auto electrician and he found my car battery is below voltage and it shifted in out of place. I took my car back to best drive and said that the battery is faulty and has shifted. Where they said they need to charge it and test it but in the meantime I need to buy a new battery. Then if they find fault with my battery they will replace it. The technician already said that there is damage to the outside of the battery housing and that the warranty is nil and void. After I explained that the battery they fitted is not the correct battery. He jumped started my car but couldn’t even connect the terminals of the jumper cables correctly and caused a short circuit. The first guy installed the incorrect battery and second guy couldn’t jumpstart a vehicle correctly still they don’t want to listen to my complaint and help resolve it with out me buying a new battery.

Disappointed and discussed with the attitude and rudeness of Yolandi from BestDrive Harties Tyre & Exhaust. I had a serious puncture, with a flat tyre and my elderly mom in the car, I did not have any alternative options, I pulled in at their premises on the Saturday, at 12:55, just as they were about to close. Desperately requesting assisting in just patching up the puncture just to get me home at least. She told me no that they are closing and can't really assist. Almost begging for help, still busy closing shop, she sort of approached Busmark to see if the were going to help me or not. Not communicating or acknowledging my presence, almost 3-5 minutes later one of their employees came to my car, again not speaking to me, he removed my tyre and patched it up. Yolandi is the most inconsiderate, disrespectful and rude person I've come accross in a long time. Previously I made use of their services in replacing my 4 tyres. Whilst waiting for my car, a sickly elderly male arrived to get a possible puncture checked, he asked if they could help him and she turned around and told him to wait his turn, (6 of us in the queue), how rude! Where is the respect for our elders, I'm sure all of us in the queued would not have mind if he was helped first, but she did not even ask.

I can't take away the fact that today I was treated normal as a customer at the reception by one of the staff member who behind the desk, and he told I'm first on the line for wheel alignment. He even told to move my car to the front of wheel alignment bay. While I was busy moving my car, little did I know that I was going to be confronted by another very rude staff member who just started yelling at me. When I asked him what was wrong he continued yelling at me. Confused I was, I then told him I don't appreciate his tone and I was going then leave them and go if he continues to do that. Guess what he told me straight on my face that I can leave, again with a harsh tone.

I have purchased a battery from Bestdrive in Hartbee****rt for VW Jetta. After I replaced the purchased battery there was error messages on my vehicle screen display of certain functions not working. I phoned a VW dealer to find out why the error messages, and they said to me i have to bring the vehicle in for them to do a diagnostics of the vehicle. I drove to the dealer, but 30 min into my journey the battery completely failed and all electronics was not working, and I was stranded. The vehicle had to be collected by truck to take it to VW Dealer. They tested the battery and the battery was faulty and did not work. I replace the battery again with an VW original battery and the vehicle was working correctly. When I returned the battery to Bestdrive Hartbee****rt, they tested it and the reading was 6volts, clearly showing it is faulty. The person who helped me Bismark refuses to refund my money, and is trying to look for excuses not to refund me my money. Just a warning to everyone who wants to use them, my experience was that they are not honest and is deceitful
