I bought a car on the 30th of January 2025 and I was made to wait for 2 full weeks to be called to collect my car, they will advertise a car then after a client has signed then they take a car for evaluations and again they will not send you a Dekra report. The service is very very poor by a Sales consultant (Simon Mphilo), I had a funeral to prepare for but I had to use taxis for those two(2) weeks while waiting for the dealership to call me to collect. From the day of collection I did not even take pictures of the car I was extremely disappointed by the service. Now the car has some sound making on the engine and when I communicate it with the sales consultant (Simon Mphilo) he made me to pay for the work done on the vehicle however I was told any mechanical issues within 6 months of purchase, the dealership will take care of it. I was **** to, I sometimes wish that I can be involved in a serious accident and the car will be a right off.

I bought a car in 2018, few days later the car was over heating. I had to return it bank to the dealership. Months of fights we later cancel the deal and I was given a new car. 2022 my disc expired and found that I had a ticket from the first car I returned and the ticket was for 2019. I contacted the dealership and was reassured that the ticket will be paid since I didn't have the car in 2019. It's the dealership that didn't remove my name on the car. Yesterday I went to renew my license card after all the process when I needed to pay I could not make payment for my temporary license due to the ticket. I called and emailed Bidvest McCarthy Volkswagen Constantia Kloof the manager said it will be sorted I emailed today for follow up nothing as yet. And I need to pay for my temporary license. Please assist never supporting this dealership ever again. I got the most horrible experience with this dealership.

Bought my vw t cross at this branch firstly the pictures showed an emaculate vehicle with a very very low mileage of 7000km on the clock. I proceeded to enquire if this was indeed the mileage and got a positive yes , upon confirmation i proceeded with the deal being based in CT i could only trust the pics and my dealer there mr Masinga. When it came time for delivery got told mileage is actually 29k and not 7k. Having missed out on a vehicle in CT i felt let me not drag my heals and still take it. Upon delivery there wad tools missing, various bad scratches; bare thread tyres which they had to then touch up and respray the complete front and rear bumper. Also instead of loading vehicle on a flatbed it got driven down adding to the mileage. Got told had to do paperwork this side asked for refund on fuel as a full tank was with the agreement ; Requested fuel refund; registration refund and numberplate refund all which was never refunded. I WOULD SUGGEST PEOPLE WHO BUY FROM HER BE VERY CAREFULL FALSE ADVERTISING AND THE POOREST OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.

1 Star... as it is the lowest i can give, if i had the chance, i would have given them 0 stars, and here is the reason... I bought a VW Polo Life 1.0TSI 2022 model from them in August 2023, but i didn't get the Polo i wanted. Before taking delivery of the vehicle they gave me (which was dirty mind you), and had no spare key, I had agreed to buy a silver Polo Life 70Kw with less than 1000km from the dealership. I was then notified by the sales person there that the car was sold to another client. They instead gave me a car that had 17000km on the clock for the same price as one with less than 1000km. They told me the car was still a demo, unregistered (no disk or license plate), and only owned by VW and driven by VW representative. Turns out the car was owned by a private owner (a friend of Dealer Principal Mohammed Alli) who sold the car back to the dealership, and was in fact second hand. VW Constantia Kloof sold me a second hand car, advertised as a Demo with 17000km for the same price as a Polo Life with less than 1000km and never owned. Had i known this information i would have never bought the car. Skip to November 2023, the car has now 3 warranty claims on the gearbox alone at 19000km, on the 3rd warranty claim, I had meeting with the dealer principle, this is when i found out the car was owned by a previous owner, after a heated meeting, and informing them they have a week to fix the car and if i have to bring the car back for another warranty claim, there will be issues, the car's gearbox was fixed. Not once did the dealership apologize for their mistake, or offer to switch the vehicle for another vehicle worth that price tag, even though their rule as described to me is, if the car comes back for a third time with the same issue they will switch out the car for another vehicle... that clearly didn't happen Skip to January 2024, the car is on 24000km, i still don't have the spare key (5 months later) and lone and behold, another warranty claim... the injectors on the car failed and the car had to be towed to the dealership. At this stage I reported them to VW SA (not that they were much help), and got a phone call from the person who sold me the car, who then shouted at me for reporting the dealership to VW SA. Nice to say an official complaint was lodged against the sales person with the dealership, but i doubt anything was done about it. Now mind you, this is already 5 months into owning the vehicle, in these 5 months, the car had 4 warrant claims, a missing spare key and the dealership essentially committed ***** when falsely advertising the vehicle as a Demo to me when it was in fact second hand, refused to apologize or find a reasonable solution to the situation. I had another meeting with the second hand sales manager Eleazer, in which we told them to make the situation right, his solution and the sales person solution to making it right was the following "we can give you a 2021 T-Cross that is out of warranty and service, has 32000km and will cost you R1500 a month extra over what i am already paying, but don't worry it comes with a tow bar that we are not going to charge you for". So essentially something that is older, out of warranty and service plan, which will cost me every time I service the car or cost me extra to take one out for 3 years, and has higher milage, but it comes with a tow bar that i have no use for, is a solution to the situation that i have been in for 5 months. I turned them down on that offer for obvious reasons. The car was finally repaired a 4th time and the spare key was finally returned. The last 5 months have been the worst months i have ever experienced owning a Volkswagen or any car for that matter. In the end I had to sell the car, and take a loss of R40,000 from my 70k deposit for that car. Had i just read the reviews of this dealership, i would not have been in this situation. BUYERS BEWARE, AND PROCEED WITH CAUTION. I would hate for them to do this to another person, and for those who are in a similar situation, you have my sympathy, and I wish you the best of luck, but do know that management is spinless and do not listen to you, they also like to throw the "we have your signature, there is nothing you can do" so i urge you to get all the information about the car in writing in the event they ***** you over you can throw that in their face with your lawyers letter.

Sold me a accident damaged car which was only brought to my attention when I took the vehicle in for trade in. Made alot of empty promises and failed to find a proper solution. Please be wary when buying a car from this place and make sure all checks are done.

I have had the most worst experience of purchasing my first car with this garage. They knowly sold me a car that belongs to someone else. From the 1st of April, they have been claiming that the traffic department has made a duplicate of papers and that is the reason I couldn't get my car registered for a number plate. It took four months until I went to the traffic department to find out and all was a lie.....they just wanted to de***** me in to paying a car that could be latet be taken away from me. The car is registered in someone's name and they put my residential address on the system. I hope whoever hoped to de***** me face the law in a hash manner. We work hard just to be fooled by people who think that they can always get away with crime.

I had a over heating issue on my vw amarok, and tool it in to vw constantia, and the apparently done a diagnostic test and found out the issue claimed from my warranty and knowing I'm a person with a disability they gave me my car back saying it's all sorted, drove it for 40km and it done the same thing, took it back and they decided to blame the water pump and the service advisor removed it from the first claim so insurance did not approve it, called me to say your vechile is 100% and they have test driven it says the workshop manager. It was mid Friday afternoon and I drove my van for less than 40km and had the same issue called vw again and I got told that I will be reliable the job that they have not completed. And I must pay for whatever seems to be the issue, with my disability they left me stranded they are ****s and rude people.
