On the 23rd June 2025 I bought a 2019 Polo TSI Comfortline from Big Apple Motors (Was assisted by Mo). This has since been the worst experience ever as more and more issues are starting to emerge with the car. What was supposed to be a nice and pleasant experience has since been a nightmare I've been to the dealership 3 times for a noise (this was still within the 6 months warranty) that is coming from the passenger side wheel; a engin mounting was replaced but the noise was still there. I thus went to Supaquick in Vredenburg for a suspension test and they advised it was the shock on the passenger side as it is leaking. The car was then taken to Hi-Q in Parow by Mo and the results came out saying that there's nothing wrong with the shocks. This has since resulted in me having to ask for leave days off at work and extra fuel cost as I stay in West Coast and have to travel to Parow where the dealership is situated On the 6th January 2026 the car was serviced at Renault (Weskaap Motors) in Vredenburg and the Mechanic that serviced the car advised that the sump plug has been weared out — this resulted in me having to pay extra for the service ad the tread was worn out and had to be re-treated. Weskaap Motors advised that the car has also not been serviced before being that the oil was really, really dirty and cabin filter wet and dirty — The Service history was also not cleared as the car does not come with service book and also no stamp of service on the door (Keep in mind Mo advised car was serviced on the day of collecting which was 23rd June 2025) All this information was provided to Mo via WhatsApp and all he is saying is that I should bring the car to the dealership which is not always easy as I stay 133KM away from the dealership This has since been a unpleasant experience and would advise anyone whose would like to do business with Big Apple Motors to be careful and vigilant

If possible I would rate Zero Star. Pathetic service. 1 month ago We viewed vehicles. We were promised quotes within 48 hours of any vehicle we wanted ( on their premises or any other vehicle of our choice). Details were given to Zaheer. 1 Month later still no email or phone call or Whatsapp. Worst Service ever.

I'll never buy a car from Big Apple Motors again. Sales consultant known as Zee sold a car to me. When i test drove the car the service light came on. He promised me the car will be serviced before i collect it. I collected the car a few days later and the service light was off. When i checked the service book a few days later it wasn't stamped. I followed up with him and after a lot of back and forth i dropped the book by him for it to be stamped. A few months later the car started to act strange and i took it to a workshop. And they told me the car needs a service as the spark plugs needs to be replaced and the air filter was dirty. I followed up with Zee and he told me that Big Apple Motors have a in house workshop and they did the service and he'll get the invoice that show the car was serviced. A few weeks later i didn't hear anything from him and i followed up again. He said the spark plugs wasn't replaced on the car it was just oil and oil filter. And before purchasing the car i asked him if certain things will be done and he said yes. And Zee even confirmed it wasn't done. Not getting any feedback from him and he's now ignoring my call as well. Lots of back and forth for the past few months with Zee and i didn't come anywhere.

I had dealing with Big Apple twice and the first time was a memorable experience. The service was excellent and the car drove like a dream. Thanks to the salesman Mo. My second experience with Big Apple Motors was not such a memorable one. I experienced some hiccups second time around but thanks to Sam it was all sorted out. Had some problems with after sale service but Sam stepped in and sorted it all out. Her commitment to customer service and after sale service really impressed and changed the way I felt about Big Apple Motors. I am now looking forward to my next purchase at Big Apple Motors. Thank you Sam for going the extra mile. A special thanks to Zee for always being willing to help.
