I recently purchased a carry box for my husband’s bike from Big Boy Wierda Park. When making the purchase, I specifically told the sales lady that I wasn’t sure if my husband would like it and asked if I could return it if he didn’t. She assured me it wouldn’t be a problem but suggested I buy it cheaper at China Mall, where returns aren’t allowed. I decided to pay more at Big Boy, trusting they’d honor a return if needed. Nowhere on the receipt does it mention a 30-day return limit—just that there are no exchanges on electronic items, which this plastic carry box clearly isn’t. But when I called Mohamed, the manager, to discuss a return, he was extremely rude and even insulted both me and my husband. Contacting Big Boy Head Office also led nowhere—they said they couldn’t help, despite the unfair treatment. I previously bought a Big Boy bike from the Centurion branch, where the team, despite some issues, genuinely tried to provide good service. Unfortunately, Mohamed at the Wierda Park branch goes out of his way to be unprofessional and unhelpful. I would strongly recommend against buying from him. Big Boy Head Office should seriously reconsider allowing someone with such poor customer service to operate under their brand.

What an unpleasant unfriendly and unhelpful place!! I will never put my foot threw those doors again!! No manners over a telephone, no knowledge of the parts that are being sold and even argues that we are wrong until i show the woman a picture!! Still no apology, or any attempt to correct the mistake, then a simple come back at the end of the month cause i cant do a refund cause my boss is on holiday!!! ***!!! I am now catering to their demands and holiday schedule!! Since when is the consumer the one who has to run around when a supplier is wrong!!?? And then to top it off, i get told that when i do come back at the end of the month the boss will decide if i can have a refund!!! I am disgusted at the level of disrespect and disregard these ppl have for the people that actually pay their damb salary!!!

Worst experience EVER!! Please do not make use of their service!!! We received the worst service from them, was sworn at and literately thrown out of their premises. I still can't believe what we went through yesterday! Lesson learned!! I advise every person to never make use of them.

Absolutely the worst service ever, do not buy or take your bike there . I bought two bikes from them One of the bike was constantly having break down while it was new but they always lied to me me saying it was a lose connection. I took the second bike in for check up last week since its also giving problems, they did not attempt check it l fought them before they would check it, they they told me the engine is damaged warranty won't cover the cost. I asked why am l getting quick feedback now that l said l want my bike back the owner said they see a mark on the engine it will cost +-R45000 to repair, when l wanted to see the mark they talking about l we told they haven't opened it yet and when l asked how do they make such a conclusion he said l should give them Monday since it was Friday afternoon to check it. Monday l decided I'm taking my bike l don't want them to check it anymore so first thing in the morning l asked my brother to fetch it since I was at work. He said they took long then usually the bring the bike by the parking ti be load only to find out the were deliberately messing the bikes wiring loaded it to bike with the battery not connected when my brother asked why the battery not connected they said there charging it since was low. When l got back from work l connected the battery to check it only to find the bike is constantly caster is constantly ON before turning the ignition. They customer service is really pathetic l wouldn't recommend anyone to them

We bought a brand new s****** 8 months ago, since then I had constant trouble with the s****** RS Adventure 150.. The owner of the place is not very helpful when it comes to clients service, and the receptionist is under constant pressure to such a degree that she breaks out in a panic attack! After the service of the s****** a month ago, the left side of my back break light and front headlight seized..... This guy (Owner) overprise everything and I'm very disappointed in their services!!!!!!!!! Anonymous.....

We bought a brand new s****** 8 months ago, since then I had constant trouble with the s****** RS Adventure 150.. The owner of the place is not very helpful when it comes to clients service, and the receptionist is under constant pressure to such a degree that she breaks out in a panic attack! After the service of the s****** a month ago, the left side of my back break light and front headlight seized..... Firstly we waited the whole day for them to pick it up ( after they said they will pick it up @10:00 am they only arrived @18:00 causing me to miss a whole days of work) We had to give them the spare key for the s****** after a whole two days of no feedback I decided to contact Madelein and ask her what the progress is on the s****** then she confirmed they havent even tried starting it and the key is not working. The next day I dropped the other key off and confirmed with Madelein when I will receive a quote where she confirmed it will be latest Friday. when i phoned on friday once again they have not even looked at it and the quote is also not ready every time we phone they just say tomorrow , tomorrow , tomorrow and it never happens. This is not how you run a business if you dont want top assist clients rather say so instead of wasting my time. and then they still bad mouth other bike service centers but they clearly cant run their own business and knows nothing about customer service. Pathetic.

Awful! Bought a brand new Big Boy Revival 150 s****** from Mohammed at Wierda Park branch. S****** had disconnected light on delivery and broke down 5 times next to road. Two of these times directly after service. After last service air filter was cleaned in stead of replaced but charged at replaced rate. Bolts were missing from brakes, and s****** came back with speedometer broken. Phoned and emailed Big Boy Head Office they said it's a dealership problem although the s****** is under warranty. Paid R900 for last 3000km service. ..s****** broke down again. ..dealership refused to give reason. Looks like problem on s****** which now has been in for repairs 7 times since it was bought in May. Highly disgusted that between Big Boy and dealership no one takes responsibility. Last conversation with Big Boy they said I had to take it up with the dealership who can simply not be trusted. Why does Big Boy give a warranty that they try and get out of?
