Big Eazy's Custom Bikes
Based on recent customer reviews, Big Eazy's Custom Bikes faces serious and recurring allegations of dishonesty, misappropriated funds, and unfulfilled promises from owner Johann Claassen. Multiple customers report bikes sold on consignment without payment, prolonged repair delays spanning months, substandard workmanship, and intimidating behaviour. Several reviewers mention pursuing legal action or complaints to the Motor Industry Ombudsman. A small number of positive reviews praise Johann's after-hours commitment and welcoming service, but these are heavily outweighed by detailed accounts of broken agreements and financial misconduct.

I have only received the best service from Big Eazy bikes with a genuine care for my motorcycle and this is true for my entire biker group. Johan, the owner is a real solid guy and have shown so many times he willing to bend over backwards for his customers. We ONLY use Big Eazy Bikes and I would recommend you check out their awesome premises and collections.

do not deal with Johan Claasen. sold my bike on consignment with him. two months after the bike was sold, the new owner contacted me and asked me for the natis papers. only then found out the bike was sold. I spoke to Johan, informed me the new owner still needs to pay him, I knew that was a lie as i had the proof of payment sent to me by the new owner. he told the buyer that he is waiting for the natis papers from the metro, also a lie as I have it. numerous visits, pleads, threats from me to him, then he the informed me he used the money to rescue his business that was in trouble. started paying me small amounts here and there, he still owes me money. I have begun legal proceedings against him. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

I bought a 2016 BMW R1200GS from The Big Eazy Customs and after 1400km the bike broke down. This was in November. It is now September 2025 and I still don't have my motorbike back. At first, I gave Johann Claassen the benefit of doubt and allowed sufficient time to repair this motorcycle. I have however come to the conclusion that he is fabricating stories to delay I don't know what and every week it's a new almost done just finishing off story. I then was made aware of his history, and it was shocking to learn that many consumers have been down this path. I have paid 11 months' worth of installments and have nothing to show for it, thanks to Big Eazy Custom Bikes. Not even a call or a gesture of progress coming from them. I believe he is spinning Wesbank around his fingers again and the word is, he is not scared of lawyers and ombudsman. I even see some of the reports here have been removed in some devious manner which would be *****. Next month it will be a year.

I bought a 2016 BMW R1200GS from The Big Eazy Customs and after 1400km the bike broke down. This was in November. It is now June 2025 and I still don't have my motorbike back. I can no longer in good faith believe anything he says and will be filing a complaint with the Ombudsman. I am also seeking legal advice and will use whichever route to find a resolve. I should have listened to advice from other bikers but fool me twice...

Johann and His Lawyer sent me an agreement to repay the deposit on the bike that I bought for my son in April 2024! The agreement stated he will refund the deposit and interest in full. Including a "gag" clause that I am not to discuss any particulars of the agreement with the media or make the agreement public. Probably due to the interest from The Devi Show regarding Big Eazy's Custom Bikes. I am sure you can guess what happened, the agreement was not honored. I will thus further my fight publicly. Making available any and all agreements for publication as well as on social media. "Just telling my story". Perhaps even lay ******** charges, seeing that the order by the Motor Industry Ombud was not comp**** with as well as the legal agreement signed between us. What an ********* bunch of people.
