Have a few lovely stays at Blaauwberg Beach Hotel. The rooms are nice, breakfast buffet is also very nice. They do nice small things like leave a cake\treats, wine, and personal messages for Birthdays and Anniversaries.

Probably the worst hotel to stay at given the arrogant reservation staff and once you complain the GM has the nerve to tell you that you shouldn't have shouted or made comments that you were clearly pushed to make, they treat their clients like children and their food isn't clean at all , previously had food poisoning which was reported and no one attended to , Kitchen staff wiping the stove with a dirty cloth when making omelets. It is not worth it and never again when we use this unprofessional hotel that has the nerve to tell us how to talk when you complain.

I have beenall over the world in 4 and 5 star hotels, but beware Blaauberg Beach Hotel in Bloubergstrand, Seriously bad management at Blaauberg Beach hotel not keeping the 4star hotel in good order, we booked a very expensive room facing table mountain over the holidays for 3 days. When we were shown our room ., the windows were so dirty you must use your imagination to see the table mountain, and no they can't clean it. So I complained and eventually got a room with one single clean window, a broken and leaking coffee machine, an aircon that doesn't work, windows that can't open for fresh air, and a manager that says that is how it works in this hotel.it could easily be a four star, if these things are looked at.if you don't like getting your heart rate up due to bad management and complaints , stay away from this establishment. There are other proper 4 stars elsewhere. Not happy customer !!!

My husband and I stayed at the Blaauberg Beach Hotel from 25 February to 01 March 2025. During our stay, I worked from the hotel room and only left it briefly for about an hour. When I returned, the cleaner had just finished tidying the room. The following day, I went into the office and took my AirPods with me. However, when I wanted to use them on Thursday evening, I discovered that the buds were missing from the case. I reported the issue to the manager, who contacted the cleaner, but she claimed she hadn’t seen them. This means the only people who had access to the room were my husband, myself, and the cleaner. None of us have the buds, yet "Find My Device" shows their location as 106-110 Beach Boulevard, Milnerton.

A very unpleasant early evening today was had at Pebbles at the Blaauwberg Beach Hotel. The Gin and ****tail lounge is perfectly positioned for a wonderful sunset drink, however, this treat was thoroughly spoilt by a private group and a live DJ whose music was so loud that other patrons not enjoying the music could not hear themselves speak. I complained twice to the excellent waiters and when one came to advise me why the music could not be turned down due to it being live (I think), I had to ask her several times as I could not hear her. I called down to reception to get the manager to resolve but he/she did not arrive. Several other patrons left due to the inappropriate noise and the smell of cannabis which I believe is ******* to smoke / take in a public place. I was there on a rare sunset drink out as I care 24/7 for my 94 year old mum but had the advantage of a carer. Another couple were out on their first free night and I assume new parents. I enquired as to whether Pebbles was a nightclub and the waiter confirmed a lounge so why was this unacceptable noise allowed at 7 pm to the exclusion of the enjoyment of other guests. If the group wished for a party atmosphere I am sure that a private conference room could have been utilised or that purpose.

This is my third time staying at this hotel and I am sad to say, probably my last. While the staff were friendly and the views were breathtaking, it did not make up for the terrible service. Upon arrival in the room at 14:30, my partner and I discovered that the air conditioner was not working and the room was terribly humid. I had to phone reception twice, was told someone would rectify the issue, but after two hours nothing had happened. I then went downstairs to reception and someone finally attended to the issue. When I tried to order room service, I was told it would be delivered within the hour. I also had to phone for this twice and then it arrived two hours after I ordered it, and it was ghastly. The staff were very apologetic but it was not a great experience.

Utter disgusting customer service to make a reservation with a free voucher. I sent an email to make a booking for my 50th birthday and they rep**** they blocked out free vouchers for August and they are fully booked. Then I rep**** but your terms and conditions stated it is valid from 05 August 2024. So I called the hotel and they said there are rooms available and I even checked on Lekker slaap and Booking.com they have rooms available. So when you won or someone give you a voucher from this hotel...the Revenue Director will decide when you can book this voucher. In that case they must make it clear on their terms and conditions that the revenue director will decide when you may book your stay. I will not give them 1 star for rating.

I recently stayed at the Blauwberg beach hotel for a conference event my company was having. Checked into my room unpacked a few things went upon the afternoon on sunday the 7th of july. the evening i returned back to the room the bathtub was calling my name only for me to find a ****roach roaming about around the bathtub edge. i have contacted the hotel myself however no one has gotten back to me. To my knowledge i know housekeeping is done daily so how is there a ****roach, the concern i also had was any bugs coming back home and infesting my home. this is not hygenic or even sanitary. its alarming that there was even one and the size that it was, it was not a baby ****roach one that can potentially grow and infest.
