JSN Motors/Bryanston BMW charged me for a services not rendered, how do you service a client vehicle and not wash it? It doesn't have a good outlook to work on the vehicle give it back with oil marks all over the body. Not to mention the uninterested Dewald Van Der Westhuizen whom stir all this and walk away with a cold 'he is sorry' now I am sitting with oil marks all over the car even on the roof lining and they expect me to bring the car back for a wash. Why wasn't it washed in the first place?

As a lady who knows as much about cars as I do about quantum physics (read: nothing), walking into a dealership is intimidating. But then came Trevor. From the moment I walked in with a million questions (most of them beginning with “Sooo... what does this button do?”), Trevor was patient and professional. He took time to explain every feature in a way that even I could understand and make informed decisions. Buying a car can be intimidating, but I was walked through the process with professionalism. Thank you, Trevor, for making this not just a purchase, but an experience. I drove off feeling confident, taken care of, and dare I say… a little bit fancy. A shout out to Chante in finance as well who did an excellent job supporting with Financing! Highly recommend BMW Bryanston—and definitely recommend Trevor.

I am extremely unhappy with the service and treatment I’ve received from the dealership. From the moment I made the purchase, they were quick to close the sale, but once the car started having issues, the dealership completely dodged addressing the faults. I’ve repeatedly brought the car back, raising the same concerns each time, only to be downplayed and misled. My issues were never taken seriously, and I was repeatedly assured that everything would be resolved, but that simply never happened. Every time I returned, I was given false assurances that the car was fixed, only for the same issues to persist. What has been even more disappointing is the complete lack of accountability and responsibility from the dealership. They were quick to take my money, but when it came to actually resolving the problems, they either ignored or downplayed them. I’ve been treated with complete disregard, and my concerns have been brushed aside as if they don’t matter. To add insult to injury, much of my communication with the dealership was lost when my phone was ******, and I’m now left with no evidence of the promises made or the issues discussed. The entire experience has been frustrating, stressful, and utterly disappointing. At this point, I have no trust in the dealership’s ability or willingness to fix the problems. I feel completely let down and disrespected. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, and I am demanding a resolution - either a full repair or a complete refund. This has been a truly awful experience, and I hope others are made aware of the poor treatment I’ve received.

I feel compelled to share my unfortunate experience with BMW after being a loyal customer. I previously owned a 2018 BMW X5 M-50D, which served me well until the motor plan expired. I took it to JSN BMW Bryanston (Johannesburg) for a routine service, only to be hit with an eye-watering quote of approximately ZAR35,000 for new brake discs and pads because my motor plan was no longer active. In the midst of this, the used car salesman suggested I consider a newer BMW X5. However, we both quickly realized that the trade-in value for my car was disappointing. He even recommended checking with “We Buy Cars” for a better offer! Eventually, I looked into a recommended 2021 BMW X5 M-50D but was shocked to find it required a ZAR600,000 down payment! After negotiating, I suggested a ZAR450,000 down payment which was seemingly accepted. Then it became a whirlwind of offers, including the 2024 BMW X3 xDrive M-Sport and the 2024 BMW X4 M. Reluctantly, I settled on the X3 for its warranty and being a newer model. I took possession on November 11, 2024, after a ZAR290,000 down payment. However, the comfort and luxury I expected were not there. Within a week, I expressed my dissatisfaction to the salesman, but was told it was too late to return the vehicle. To make matters worse, I started having serious transmission issues about 12 days in. The car frequently disengages from “Reverse” to “Park” and from “Drive” to “Park,” raising significant safety concerns. On top of that, I’ve struggled to get the BMW App to work, which is crucial for customizing vehicle settings. BMW informed me that they escalated my app issue but after three weeks, I've received no updates. I genuinely feel that BMW has taken advantage of my trust and loyalty. The trade-in value I’m being offered is far less than what I owe, and now they want even more money if I choose to replace this defective vehicle. I urge BMW JSN Bryanston to kindly exchange my vehicle without requiring an additional down payment, considering the ZAR290,000 I’ve already paid.

I purchased a car from JSN Motors, and within just three months, I discovered that the rear bumper had defects and the paint started chipping. After raising the issue, they forced me to contribute to the cost of fixing the door, even though their own panel shop confirmed it was poorly repainted by them before the sale. This dealership is a bunch of ****mers, and their principal dealer is absolutely useless when it comes to resolving issues. To make matters worse, after the salesman received his commission, he was rude and dismissive, showing zero interest in assisting further. The manager has no regard for customers, is equally rude, and clearly doesn’t care about resolving complaints. If you’re considering buying a second-hand car from them, get it independently inspected before you purchase, or you’ll likely be ****med like I was. I wouldn’t trust them with a single cent in the future!

Took my @BMW for a scheduled brake fluid service. I switched from @bmwfourways to @BMWbryanston, this is decision I have since regretted. The lady who assisted me was rude and I found her service atrocious. She left me feeling like she was doing me a favour to service my car. I requested for them to change the breaks as the cars breaking performance had declined and I know it’s taking longer now to stop. It’s a 540i and thus breaking performance should be inline with its engine performance. My breaks also have begun squeaking and it’s quite loud. Unlike @bmwfourways, I was not taking to my destination with a BMW but rather an Uber was called. This sounds entitled however, from a premium brand, a certain level of service is expected. Throughout the day, no communication from the the service department about work being done I went to pick up my car and the lady couldn’t be bothered to give me feedback on what work had been done or any issues found. I discovered the car wasn’t even washed when it was returned with my mag wheels full of oil from being removed for the oil change. The breaks have not been changed and I’m still experiencing the same problems. Given the challenges these premium brands are experiencing now especially from lesser priced brands you would imagine a premium customer service which costs nothing but understanding which market you are in should be standard. Needless to say I will not be returning to @bmwbryanston ever. When you interview people to deal with customers, you just make sure it’s something they enjoy. Even if inconvenient, I will go back to @bmwfourways. Or maybe switch to @Porsche from what I hear from friends, their service is excellent.

A HUGE SHOUT TO SIMONE AND CHANTE, this was my first BMW purchase, and I was helped within 1 week of test driving, everything was carefully communicated, I felt seen to and my standards were met with regards to how they were professional in all aspects , these ladies really gave me a beautiful experience and if I would recommend asking for them when purchasing a new or used vehicle , they will help you in every way !!!
