If I could give zero stars, I would. We inherited Bodacious Group through the previous property owner, and it’s been a nightmare from day one. Their service is absolutely appalling — constant issues, overcharging tenants without explanation, and complete incompetence when it comes to basic service delivery. When we gave notice to terminate, Bodacious deliberately delayed the handover, leaving our tenants without electricity for four days. When we escalated the issue to the owner, they acted like a spoiled child instead of a professional service provider. After much back-and-forth, we finally managed to get the handover codes — only to be invoiced three months later, long after cancellation! This is hands down the WORST company we’ve ever dealt with. Do NOT use Bodacious Group. Absolute joke of an owner and a company. Stay far away.

We usually buy our electricity by “direct vending”, which means that we make an EFT and then send the proof of payment to Bodacious. This month when I did the same as every month, I was informed that they no longer provide this service, and I should provide stamped banking details to get my refund. I did so immediately. This was Tuesday 25/03/2025. Thursday 27/03/2025 I followed up regarding the repayment. I got NO response, and I ended up phoning them directly. They confirmed that all my paperwork was in order, and it was lying with the owner, Madeleen Wienand, to be released. Friday 28/03/2025 I had still not received my money or any feedback regarding the delay. I had then emailed the admin AND the owner AGAIN asking for my money back. I do not have the funds to pay over R1000 for electricity twice, and my current balance on my meter is running low. So, it is very URGENT that I get reimbursed. Today, 31/03/2025, I have still not received any feedback or my money. This is not the first time that Bodacious has provided sub-par service, especially considering the mark-up they put on their electricity units for their “services”.

I stay at 35 kempton road unit 21 the meter box just stopped functioning we called them yesterday day they said they will deliver the new meter box today but even now we are still waiting no1 is answering the phone when we call im on a second day without electricity now.we asked if they cant load it for us on their side they said they cant.now the food in the fridge is ruined coz im on 2 days without electricity with no chance of them delivering they new meter box.im not happy with the service I would like the matter resolved ASAP as ive hold half of my grocer over this

What a horrible experience these people are giving me. I purchased R700 electricity on the 28th February 2025. On the 3rd of March I received an email stating that the company no longer sells electricity and that we must purchase from our banking App or from other stores. They then asked I provide my banking details for a refund. I have been calling and always told they have refunded me, I asked for POP and they cannot produce. This week from the 14th March till today the 19th I have been calling they keep saying I should expect payment before 17pm. I am sick and tired of this and the stupid Madeleen who is the the director lies like a *****. She never answers her cell phone. I have spoken to Maria and Ivy who keep promising to get payment before 5pm. They are just as lying as their boss.

We bought a block of flats and took over Bodacious as the metering company. It's over 2 months now with no payment from this company and Madaleen keeps insist she has paid into our account. I have requested proof of payments which she has sent till date. I am a bit worried that this company is going through financial crisis and the owner is not been upfront. Our tenants keep purchasing electricity from Bodacious and they don't remit this money to us

Has anyone had any good experiences with Madeleen and Bodacious? I requested a breakdown of charges on 26 February 2025, Madeleen was going going to send me a brochure, to date, still no response. As a customer do we not have a right to know how we are billed? Bodacious seems very dishonest and *********

This is the second time I buy electricity and when I put it ..it keeps saying error ...the first purchase was done on my app for R100/R115 when i put it, gives an error...today I bought it through ShopRite..tracing id : 2b45c10b..meter number 01620772986...same problem

These people have blocked my meter my rental agent sent them an email Sunday morning still sitting with a blocked meter I've call their standby and I was told they can't help me this is so heartless besides for the law stating that a meter can not be blocked unless the block is done by the municipality, it's still done. I work as a lease administrator so I know the law this whole thing is ******* an now I can't cook food for my kids it's a cold wet Sunday evening and I can't do anything for them. I'm so mad at these people.
