another mug bites the dust
Another victim has fallen foul of Bookdirect's ****ming ways. I have the reservation paperwork but Manyaleti claims no bookings were ever made by Bookdirect . I hope Mike and Debbie are happy with their ill gotten gains. Caveat Emptor

Book direct
Made a booking last year through this company, paid in full. Was supposed to go in August 2023, contact them, Debbie never came back to me. Mike rep**** with some soppy story, he assured me that I will get my money back in full R8750. The only response I get now is: Delivery Status Notification (Failure) Just remember what goes around comes around ****ER!!!

Book direct
Made a booking last year through this company, paid in full. Was supposed to go in August 2023, contact them, Debbie never came back to me. Mike rep**** with some soppy story, he assured me that I will get my money back in full R8750. DO NOT USE Book direct as it is a *****ulent business.
Book direct debited my account using PayFast, my only option is to cancel my card and try to get the money back. This means I need to get a new credit card and go to the bank which is a real waste of time. Mike who runs book direct does not answer emails. They do not have a phone number to contact. STAY AWAY!

Unpaid Refund
Do not use Book Direct. Michael Swart from Book Direct is a con artist and *****. I am still waiting for a refund from a booking he cancelled. Many promises and six months later and he still owes me over R13K. Warning do not use Book Direct, Debbie Bam or Michael Swart; you will not see your money again.

ZERO SERVICE ZERO REFUND
We made a booking through Book.direct in January 2023 for 5 nights at Kruger Gate Hotel in May 2023 and paid R10 500 in full for this booking. A few days before we were supposed to check in we received an email from Michael Swart informing us that he was unable to pay for this booking as his bank accounts were frozen . After many empty promises and sad stories we lost our booking/ holiday. Then followed empty promises to refund us. Several weeks later we have received no refund and Michael Swart is no longer responding to any emails we send him in this regard. Definitely a company to avoid.

The man Mike Swart cannot be trusted. He employed us to source sales for his business and then did not pay us. He owes us Approx R10200 and has had a story for well over a year now. Countless promises have not been met and his stories have ranged from his account being hacked to empty promises despite acknowledging that he owes the money. What makes this so bad is that he employed us knowing he wasn't going to pay us.

We booked for 5 nights in Manyaleti Game park with Michael Swart form Book Direct. We paid our deposit last year October and the balance in Dec, R11950. We were informed 6 weeks before our trip that Book Direct was not going to use Manyaleti anymore and that our money would be refunded to us. It is 8 weeks now and Michael Swart has told me that our deposit " fell thru the cracks " and that a deposit was never paid and the our balance of payment was never paid either. He has promised to refund our money and said he would sign an acknowledgement of debt, but when I sent him the papers, he has chosen to ignore it. Basically he took my R11950 and used it for something other than my booking and blamed the establishment that they were not up to scratch. It was only when i said I would go to the establishment myself personally that Micheal informed me that no money had been handed over to them and they would send me back to him. He has ****** my money and ****med us.
