Bosch Car Service Rosslyn Auto Frans Du Toit St, Unit G5 Akasia 0200 012 568 1142 01 August 2025 Attention: Bp Rantol Motor & Engineering (Pty)Ltd Complaint Regarding Poor Service I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received since 17 July 2025 till today at Frans Du Toit St, Unit G5 Akasia 0200. I drop off my motor vehicle Audit A5 - Sports back for testing and repairs together with a diagnostic report from Auto Tech Shandis that indicated that the fault is with "Comfort System Central Module" the results indicated that there is no communication between "Comfort System Central Module", the ignition, key and the ECU. Recommendation was that the Comfort System Central Module needs to be replaced, and I indicated that Bosch Car Service Rosslyn Auto may run their own diagnostics. This report and results were provided to me within 2 hours by Auto Tech Shandis As of 01 August 2025, Bosch Car Service Rosslyn Auto has not given me any tangi tangle feedback in relation to what appears be a problem based on their diagnostic report, despite the fact that the motor vehicle has been at their premises for more than 15 day and the only feed back I have been receiving since the 22 July to date is that the technicians are running test on the motor vehicle and they have failed to determine what is the problem. On the 28 July we then agreed that if Bosch Car Service Rosslyn Auto is unable to find the fault or repair the car, then the best option was for me to take deliver of the car to another approved RMI On the 29 July I was told that the computer box of the car together with the key have been taken to another service provider outside the premises of Bosch Car Service Rosslyn Auto for further testing. On 30 July Bosch Car Service Rosslyn Auto indicated that they have not received feedback from the service provider, I then requested that I be updated the matter during the day, or the contact details of the service provider be shared with me. Feedback nor contact details were shared with me. Today when I called, I was informed that there are still no results on computer box, I then requested to take delivery of the motor vehicle to ship it another RMI and I was told that Bosch Car Service Rosslyn Auto does not have knowledge of where the workshop of the external service provider who has the computer box and the car key and arrangement will be made that I get delivery of the vehicle on the 04 August 2025. The absence of a car for over 15 days has affected my livelihood and I am unable to go to work and this situation is unacceptable. If Bosch Car Service Rosslyn Auto was unable to determine what if faulty on the car and unable to repair it, I was supposed to be informed of that failure within a week so that I can ship the car to another approved RMI, however Bosch Car Service Rosslyn Auto has concluded that they would keep my car with them from the 17 July 2025 to the 04 August 2025 (18 days) for absolutely no concrete reason but to run tests every day for 18 days To resolve this issue, I request that Bosch Car Service Rosslyn Auto assemble all the parts of the car and arrange delivery of my motor vehicle in the condition that I left with at their premises today 01 August 14:00 so that I can ship it to the nearby approved RMI for testing and repairing/replacement of whatever part that is faulty. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Bosch Car Service, Sandton. Discovery building: This has been the worst service I have received from any service centre. No accountability for the documentation that they havent’t sent through to the insurance company. Claiming that they have sent through the documents but after my car has been there for more than a week haven’t started with fixing the problem and still where I am sitting here haven’t received authorisation from the insurance company because they haven’t received the documentation. Absolutely shocking service. I will not recommend this service centre to anyone.

This review is long overdue. I brought my car in for regular service to Bosch Car Service Auto Superior, Republic Road, Ferndale after my warranty expired. I was helped by Izanne there and I want to say that he really did a good job. I was kept fully informed throughout the process and the pricing was both competitive and honest. Nowadays, it is very common to find car repair workshops that take advantage of customers and not provide value for money. Such great service really made an impression on me. Thanks to the team for their excellent customer care and lifts home. Much appreciated. I have no hesitation in recommending Bosch Car Service Auto Superior, Republic Road, Ferndale.

This review is long overdue. I brought my car in for regular service to Bosch Car Service Auto Superior, Republic Road, Ferndale after my warranty expired. I was helped by Izanne there and I want to say that he really did a good job. I was kept fully informed throughout the process and the pricing was both competitive and honest. Nowadays, it is very common to find car repair workshops that take advantage of customers and not provide value for money. Such great service really made an impression on me. Thanks to the team for their excellent customer care and lifts home. Much appreciated. I have no hesitation in recommending Bosch Car Service Auto Superior, Republic Road, Ferndale.

Really unhappy and regret ever taking my Car to this Bosch. I left my car with them on Monday 14th of March 2022. When my car was left it specificaly had 3 minor issues I needed them to check before this day my car has been driving and hasn't given me any major issues. They took 2 full days to qoute the qoute was over R180 000.The qoute had unnecessary parts on it that didn't need to be replaced .I then notified them the qoute was high and I would be collecting the car on Wednesday morning. I collected the car and to my horror on my way to work the car now had numerous issues that did not exist prior to it being left with them . The car now had misfires and the battery light had also come on. When we opened the bonnet we realized they did not put back the engine cover as well. I informed them immediately of all the errors now with the new error of the battery light being on they state that they picked up that there was a problem might I add during the duration of the car being there we were not informed of alternator battery issue nor was it on that large qoute they supplied us with. There was no mention of this at all .Only after I queried it they now informed me that there was a alternator battery fault. They refuse to take any accountability for what they have done instead of sending a technician to assist us they instead respond with a long lengthy email to cover their backs.Might I also add the diagnostic report was only emailed when we queried the new faults. The lengthy email was only typed and emailed after our queries. I can honestly say I wish I never took my car there . I was skeptical but decided to give them a try based on the fact that they are Bosch and also close to home. Biggest regret ever what makes it worse is their lack of empathy they have created more problems for us but refuse to assist. They claim to have have only done diagnostics on the car however to give a qoute that huge the engine must have been touched their technician fiddled with something to cause the car to deteriorate on such a short time ......been driving the car for so long without any major issue. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVISE CENTER . You will be highly disappointed and will be left with bigger problems in the end and further more they are unapologetic.

Jaco the workshop manager is a dream to work with. Keeps you posted on the progress and very helpful and respectful. Will definitely be taking my car to him for service and any other issues :)

I received a quote for my SUV for the 120 000 km service. This was very professionally done and I at least knew what the general cost of the service would be. On arrival in the morning Jaco met me and took pics of the car prior to the start of the service. He phoned me within 2 hours to inform me of what was to be serviced on the car and the cost of the service. The service was completed by 2pm and I was duly informed that I may fetch my car. It is the first time I have ever known the actual costs involved prior to the completion of the service and less that from the dealership. I am delighted at the job done and will be returning there for my next service. Thank you Bosch Auto Superior in Randburg for your professionalism

I took my BMW to Bosch on Republic Road in Randburg. I took my car in, intact, and drivable. They not only ensured that my car is no longer drivable - no fault of my own. They also changed their quotation a few times as they had no idea what they were doing. I had to eventually pay R33k so that they can release my car, this after they quoted me R100k to "fix (no guarantee that the fix will be made, as per them)" the car and if I did not pay this amount, they will not reassemble the vehicle. Note to say that I did not sign an agreement to disassemble, nor did they notify me that once disassembled, they will not put the car back if I did not do the repairs with them. They only told me that they will not reassemble, after they have disassembled, and will not reassemble if I did not do the repairs with them. This is utter unprofessionalism and an utter ripoff, and I hope that anyone who wants to take their car to them do so with caution. Needless to say, I have to now take my car to another repairer which I can trust. At the very least, they should have given me back the car in the state in which it was in - drivable. They utterly refused to do this and told me in no uncertain terms, that they will only put the car back if I do repairs with them.
