Bosch Power Tools SA: Ignored safety concerns and incorrect spare parts.
I am extremely frustrated with the lack of service from Bosch Power Tools South Africa. After purchasing a Bosch GCM 12 GDL Professional (Part No. 3 601 M23 601), I found that the dust bag was missing. Although the official manual (1 609 92A 9K7) lists it as standard equipment, I had to struggle to get a replacement. On April 29th, I finally received a delivery, but it was the wrong part (Part No. 1 609 B00 506), which does not fit this machine.The correct part is the Click & Clean Bag (Part No. ***).I have sent multiple emails to Mr. Samson Lebassi to rectify this and requested a collection of the wrong item. Since my last deadline on May 8th, I have been met with complete silence.I am unable to use my machine safely without proper dust extraction. It is disappointing that Bosch, a brand built on quality, ignores safety-related customer complaints and fails to provide the correct parts for their own machinery.I have now escalated this matter to Bosch Headquarters in Germany and will involve the CGSO if this is not resolved immediately.
