S**** engines for sale
When I came for the engine I chose, it had vanished, and I was given another. This engine was very high mileage, with leaking injection pump, shot oil pump and blown head gasket. In fact, on inspection, the oil pump was okay, it had been replaced previously. The low oil pressure is due to shot big end bearings. Everything had been previously repaired. I am guessing their engines are s****ped engines. Mine had minimum 1 million kms on, to be in that sorry state. Their "guarantee", as described in other reviews, reflects the ******* they sell. I now have to write off the R22000 I spent and buy another engine from a reputable dealer. It appears I was intentionally taken for a ride.

bought a mercedes 271 engine from these *****s and after fitting and a lot of cost it could not start so I check and find it don't have compression, since it was still under guarantee I phoned and they sent a guy to come check and he found that the engine was s**** and told all the mercedes engines that they had sold that month was s**** and to the didn't honour one guarantee so I must strip and see what was the problem, so I stripped and found that the pistons was melted now they offered to supply me with a supassembly in good condition and refused to refund,so I was forced to except.so after phoning to hear when they will deliver ,I was informed by Azul that they will give me one second hand piston that I must collect I was very upset and checked there reviews and hello Peter and found that they are cheating hundreds of people out of their money

Boston Japtech only committed to sell bad engines with no backup service or customer care.
To my regret I bought a Ford Fiesta engine from them. I knew that I probably had to give the engine a service, and maybe a new water pump and worst case a new cylinder head gasket, of which I was prepared to do. I did a compression test and found it to be very low, so I decided to remove the cylinder head, and check the valves and gasket, just to find that the pistons and sleeves have had deep score marks on them. I contacted Fernado but was told that because I have opened the engine, my warranty was void and they could not replace the engine, I accepted that they will not be replacing the engine, but I asked for a discount as I now had to replace pistons and bore the block. I spoke to Afzul and he asked me for proof of payment on the spares that I had replaced. I send him pictures and receipts and he said he will get back to me about a refund. Since then I have contacted him numerous times about the refund but have been ignored totally. Since then months has gone by and never getting a reply or a phone call. He has left me with no other option than to take this case further. If you look at their website you get slogans like "We're committed to delivering only the highest quality engines, gearboxes and car parts" or "Discover the best deals with our competitive pricing. We strive to offer you excellent products at prices that suit your budget." That is just a bunch of lies and a sales pitch. Do not buy from them, If you have issues they will just ignore you. Their parts are anything but Quality, rather buy from somebody that have confidence in their product and at least does a bore inspection or a compression test.

Sold me an engine that is not working, and not getting feedback.
Absolutely frustrating! Bought a G4HG complete engine on Tuesday, on advisory I had to change the intake manifold and tapit cover. Once we took off the Tapit cover from the bought motor, the rockers where broken! I contacted Boston Japtech and they agreed to replace the head with a gasket and R1000, as per communications with Fernando. He dropped the head off after hours (which I appreciate) but no gasket, promises to send a driver in the morning with the gasket. By noon I have not received a gasket. It's Friday now and still gotten a gasket (last part needed) and all communications with Fernando only seems to be delay tactics, by right they were supposed to supply a new engine, but I did agree to the cylinder head swap as a compromise. I am still to receive the R1000 refund to pay for the engineering, I am an entertainer, and thus the weekend the car won't be running thus leading up to loss of income. I have send a message this morning and not getting feedback.

Sell engines without parts waste of money and your car will still be standing
I bough A engine from Boston Japtech engine and gearbox company I made the Payment in October 2021 after fitting the engine there was one Part missing at first and I had to Drive from Limpopo to Johannesburg to collect it. The engine was then Completed the diagnostic guy then Picked up that the injectors are not working at all I the confirmed it with the company and they said they will sent working Injectors and then need to send back the onces that is not working this was on the 7 December 2021. On the 1 February 2022 I then Send them A whatsapp saying that this is verry bad service as they did not get back to me over more then A month and that I will write A review on Hello Pieter as people should no what they are dealing with when buying from them. On the 2Febraury 2022 they Guy said he is waiting for the courier Guy to come and collect it On the 3rd February 2022 the Courier Guys picked it up he sent me A tracking no but and the date for Delivery was for the 8 February 2022 so on 9 February 2022 today I tracked the parcel to find that it has been collecting failed on the 4 February 2022 and cancelled on the 7 February 2022 reason Collecting failed attempt paying so Much for something you cant use be verry Careful at this place as they Rob you from your money as you still need to drive 300 km and still have to wait for your car to be running

Please stay away from that place, the after sales service is non existent, in fact you will be met by threats of being shot at by the manager Afzal Asmal when you complain about poor products. Boston Jap-Tech and Afzal Asmal are crooks

BAD SERVICE @ BOSTON JAPTECH ENGINES & GEARBOXES
If i could rate it a zero I would. The Manager there by the name of Afzal Asmal is very rude. I bought an engine from them only to realise later that the gearbox was faulty. When I called them to complain, Afzal Asmal refused to assist me and was rude to me on the phone. He even threatened to shoot me and told me he has connections in higher places. STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE

Boston japtech crooks.
We ordered a 1Uz VVT Lexus Ecu from Boston Japtech. The person was very eager and helpful assuring me I will get the correct part. I went on, made the payment , paid the courier and received a box with no serials , not responding to the vehicle at all. Now he tells me 14 years in the line of my job, that box needs coding. But the 1Uz model does not require coding as it has external emobilizer system. They have pluged another box from another vehicle and the vehicle starts emidiatelly. He refuses to assist me further as he knows best, coded and none coded models. I should have known I'm dealing with a crook as his WhatsApp profile states the only guarantee in life is death. So I bought a dead unit with no serial stating that I have the correct part. When I call or Whatsapp NO response. It frustrates me to know people like that does this every day to other people, keeping his wallet full.
