Double Booking Room

Paid deposit for a 5 night stay. Travelled from Durban and on arrival told that they are fully booked and have no room for us. Even proof of deposit payment and invoice did not secure us a room. Made an anonymous phonecall to the lodge to enquire about availability and were told that there is a room available. Be very careful when booking with the Breede River Lodge. Have been visiting for many years but new management is very unprofessional!!!! They are not even prepared to give us our deposit back stating that we must claim from a different company that is no longer involved - Rawson Properties Witsand. We phoned the lodge direct to make the booking. ... not Rawson.
