I contacted Brefco online to send me a copy of a Tax Directive which has been issued. I chatted online and a lady as they have no tel.no. She said she would get the right person to call me back BUT I had to pay a R15 fee which would be credited. On my bank statement now it shown R651-00 for a membership which I never agreed to. "Just Answer" the online consultant stated the transaction is closed and there is nothing they can do.

I resigned from my previous employment on 28/7/2015 and therefore it is now SIX weeks later and still NO claim payment for my provident fund was paid out. At first the person who answered looked on the system and confirmed payment will be made end Aug and thereafter all of a sudden he stated it will be paid out mid Sept. There is no excuse for delaying payment. The tax has not even been calculated as yet. This is totally unacceptable. Previous claims from other companies always took two weeks, it is only Brefco that deliberately delay claim payments. It is impossible to take 8 weeks to calculated tax etc. It is my own savings that is owed to me and I have full right to have access to my money. Why must I wait 8 weeks instead of six weeks?<br> [Email Removed] apparently is the manager in charge and to date my query was not addressed.
