Budget car rental - George
We hied a car on the 17th January 2025 (Friday) drop off Sunday 19th January 2025. My husband had to pay a deposit which is normal and they said it would take 3-4 weeks before the money is paid back. He has called 3 times already and the monies have still not been paid. This is totally ridiculous, and nobody in the office give a flying .......... We will never use Budget or Avis as they are under one roof at the George airport

Charged us for fuel even when the car was full!!
Rented at George, South Africa. These guys are ******! Fill up the car before return absolutely full - the car could not take any more fuel. They charged me R150 for fuel and R39 refueling charge. There is no way that we could have driven out so much fuel in 5km, where the petrol station was. They charged R500 for a full valet for a bit of sand on the floor, where a simple vacuum would have sufficed. Daylight ******* - NEVER make use of these guys!
