I contacted Bull Barn fencing after they responded to an adverti*****t that I posted on bark.com. Bull contacted me nearly immediately and provided a quote and pro forma invoice. I was asked to pay a 60% deposit to confirm the order and so that he could purchase materials. He told me on Monday that the fence (a simple 3m fence) would be ready for installation the following weekend. I tried to contact him that weekend to find out about installation. I sent whatsapp messages (we had communicated through whatsapp previously), tried to call and sent emails. I received no response. I subsequently received an email later in the following week informing me that his foreman had passed away in an accident and that "he would get to my project as soon as possible". I responded to pass along my condolences. A week later, I tried to contact Bull again (using all the same channels). I received no response. I have told him that I need the fence to be erected urgently and that if he cannot do the job, he needs to please let me know and refund my deposit so that I can get someone else to do the job. I have still received no response. My calls go unanswered and messages and emails are not responded to.
