My credit card has been debited monthly for the last 6 months for a subscription that does not exist. When queried with Business Day Help desk they responded that they cannot assist to stop the debit since my email address is not listed on their system (therefore no valid subscription) .therefore they cannot provide valid log in details nor stop the debits. Basically I must pay R129 per month without receiving a service.

1. Subscription request e-mailed 29th Jan - no reply 2 full weeks later. 2. put through to another extension when phoning in - phone call 'auto-dropped', TWICE, without getting through! 3. MANY numbers published - every-single-number goes to voice-mail - really? 4. 12.30 pm in Cape Town, and yesterdays Business Day still on shelves (plural) and no sign of today's newspaper. 5. PostNet no longer getting Business Day, due to 'printing delay problems', was what I was told. Just SEEMS like the place is running down, with most employees working remotely - get back to work, witht he emphasis on w-o-r-k. rant off, CHris, Cape Town, loyal - yet frustrated - reader.

Whatever you do, DO NOT sign up for anything with these people. Once they have your credit card on file, you're on your own. Misleading links, overcharging, obfuscation. VERY relaxed approach to customer queries, even when it comes to being caught out BRAZENLY OVERCHARGING. Non-existent email addresses. Zero replies to your messages - if you manage to find a way to contact them at all, that is. Just automatic replies or "Mail delivery failed" messages for days, and days... Then, zero customer service with an attitude. To add insult to injury, there's nothing of value beyond their "paywall". Mostly just political twaddle, shameless propaganda and regurgitation. All good contributors have left the publication many, many years ago and now continue to contribute good content elsewhere. All in all, a clueless, desperate, dying "news service". Avoid! Please correct your article on the internet: https://www.businesslive.co.za/bd/life/motoring/2020-12-10-gwm-p-series-punches-above-its-weight/ GWM says it can tow up to 3,750kg. As a 4x4 model with a mode selector it gets 232mm of ground clearance and though the chance to see if it w I believe this data is wrong and are misleading to the consumer. Refer to e-mail from Haval... Hullo again The 3,5 T towing capacity referred to applies to the P3 version (Dedicated Heavy Duty offroader) which we don’t have in SA yet. That version has 3 diff locks……….. The P1 (Commercial) and P2 (Passenger) versions we have can tow 2250 kgs braked and 750 kgs unbraked. Hope this helps - best regards always, Hylton Swemmer Training Haval Motors South Africa Pty Ltd Tel: +27 (10) 880 2366 • Ext 104 • E-mail: sales@haval.co.za
