We contracted with Business Grading Council SA (BGCSA) for a verified listing of Bubble Bekkie Advertising, valid until October 2025. Our listing was removed without any prior notice, explanation, or response to repeated requests for clarity. During this process, it became clear that BGCSA itself does not appear to have a formal business registration number. For a platform that markets itself as a “trusted” or “verified” authority, this lack of official registration is concerning and undermines credibility. Additionally, links on our listing were altered without notice, causing confusion for our clients. Communication from BGCSA has been minimal to nonexistent. Based on our experience, the service is not transparent, and businesses should approach with caution.

In October 2024, we joined the Business Grading Council SA (BGCSA) after being contacted about their directory. The sign-up process was straightforward, but our certificate contained a spelling error (“Beauty” was printed as “Beaty”) despite us providing correct details. Our contract was valid for 12 months, yet after only 10 months, our business listing was removed from their website without prior notice or renewal communication. We had already budgeted for renewal, but our membership ended prematurely. Since then, our emails have gone unanswered, and phone calls to their office number are not picked up. This lack of response has made it difficult to resolve the matter. We had promoted our membership by displaying their certificate across our platforms, and it is disappointing that the same level of professionalism and communication was not extended to us. The BGCSA concept is valuable, but in our experience, the execution has been inconsistent. I would recommend that businesses considering membership request clear information upfront regarding contract terms, renewal processes, and support availability.

On 11 October 2024, we received a call from the Business Grading Council SA (BGCSA) to join their directory. After being quoted the top, most expensive package, I visited their website and signed up for a package more suited to our budget for the remainder of 2024. The signup process was smooth — except for the shocking fact that our official certificate had “Beauty” misspelled as “Beaty.” This error came directly from BGCSA, despite us providing the correct details in the application form. Frankly, it should have been a red flag at the time. Fast-forward 10 months later, despite having a valid 12-month contract and agreement, our business listing was removed from their website without any communication, warning, or even the courtesy of a renewal reminder. We were already planning to renew for the 2025–2026 cycle, yet our membership was simply cut off without reason. Since then, we have sent numerous emails — all ignored. Calling their office line is pointless; the phone rings endlessly, and no one ever answers or calls back. For an organization that claims to “verify and host verified businesses,” the irony is that BGCSA itself seems completely unverified. There is no transparency, no accountability, and no functioning support system. What’s worse is that as loyal clients, we not only paid our fees but also gave them free exposure by proudly displaying their certificate on our website and business pages — effectively marketing them at no cost. A little common courtesy in return would have gone a long way. Instead, what we received was silence, broken promises, and early cancellation of our contract without explanation. The idea behind BGCSA is excellent in theory, but in practice, the execution is deeply flawed and misleading. Taking money from small businesses, then failing to honor the contract, provide service, or even respond to communication, borders on abusive business practice. I am extremely disappointed, upset, and frankly feel cheated by the Business Grading Council SA (BGCSA). Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them to any business that values professionalism, accountability, or even basic customer service.

We contracted with Business Grading Council SA (BGCSA) for a verified listing of Bubble Bekkie Advertising, valid until October 2025. Without any warning or communication, our listing was removed. No invoice was issued, no notice was given, and all attempts to get clarity have been ignored. This is not the first problem we experienced. BGCSA previously changed the links on our listing without informing us. I only discovered this when a client contacted me directly after noticing that the link to our website no longer worked. Their marketing claims you are paying to be a “verified and trusted” business, but their own Terms and Conditions say they take no responsibility for listed businesses. In reality, you are simply paying to appear on their website, with no real verification or credibility provided. That is false advertising and misleading to both businesses and the public. The lack of transparency, removal without notice, and refusal to communicate make this an ********* and unprofessional service. I cannot recommend BGCSA and caution other businesses to think twice before paying for what is essentially just a website listing disguised as credibility.
